UFC President Dana White isn’t exactly putting much thought into the rumors surrounding the power Conor McGregor has been given as a coach on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 31. McGregor will coach opposite Michael Chandler, and the two will go one-on-one at some point this year. Recently, UFC welterweight Gilbert Burns accused McGregor of having his teammate, Loik Radzhabov, kicked off of TUF 31 in favor of his own selection. Well-known MMA manager Daniel Rubenstein also accused McGregor of having three of his fighters: Ken Cross, Mitch Ramirez, and Brandon Jenkins removed from the show.

UFC President Dana White heaped praise on Tatiana Suarez following her first fight in nearly four years. Suarez collided with Montana De La Rosa on the main card of UFC Vegas 70. This was Suarez’s first bout since June 2019. She had been sidelined due to issues with her neck and knee. Suarez didn’t let the inactivity bring her down against De La Rosa, as she secured the second-round submission win.

UFC President Dana White is well aware of the rise of Erin Blanchfield. Blanchfield is quickly emerging as a top contender in the UFC women’s flyweight division. She’s fresh off a second-round submission finish over Jessica Andrade at UFC Vegas 69. The win earned Blanchfield a “Performance of the Night” bonus. Blanchfield was expecting to meet Taila Santos, but she was removed from the card and replaced by Andrade on just one week’s notice.

Power Slap light-heavyweight Jon Kennedy has made history as the first-ever fighter to be suspended. The experimental slapping league started by Dana White last year has suffered controversy after controversy. Before the show could even air, the promoter was seen slapping his wife in a nightclub in Mexico. White later declined to punish himself, stating that his punishment is that people have lost respect for him. TBS later postponed the show’s debut by a week due to the incident.

In the final moments of the first round, McGregor broke his leg. In the process, losing his second straight bout to ‘The Diamond’. However, it also put him on the shelf for over a year.

UFC President Dana White isn’t close to even considering the possibility of Derrick Lewis being cut from the UFC roster. Lewis shared the Octagon with Sergey Spivak in the main event of UFC Vegas 68. “The Black Beast” was submitted in the opening frame. This is Lewis’ third straight loss. He hasn’t earned a victory since late 2021. He’s also been stopped in all of his three straight defeats.
