Jake Paul has his eyes set on Tommy Fury next. After Paul earned a split decision victory over Tyron Woodley at the end of August, it appeared the two agreed to a rematch in the ring, but nothing has been finalized since. According to Paul, with Woodley not getting the tattoo, he says the rematch is likely off the table.

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley provided an update on the “I love Jake Paul” tattoo and a potential rematch between them. The original bet between Woodley and Paul was that the loser of the fight was supposed to get a tattoo of the other’s name, but Woodley didn’t end up getting the tattoo. Instead, “The Chosen One” told “The Problem Child” following his split decision loss that he would get the tattoo if Paul gave him the rematch. The two shook hands in the ring that night, but so far we haven’t heard of any date for the said rematch between these two men.

Although it was ruled a split, most media members thought it was a clear win for Paul who threw more volume and landed more shots than Woodley. However, “The Chosen One” did rock Paul in the fourth and nearly dropped him but it wasn’t enough.

Fights broke out in the crowd during Sunday’s Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley event, and you can see the videos of what happened with the fans. Paul, the former Disney star and YouTube star, participated in his fourth pro boxing match against Woodley, the former UFC welterweight champion who was making his debut in the sweet science. The fight, which served as the co-main event of the evening, was closely fought for eight rounds but ultimately it was Paul taking home a narrow split decision. In addition to Paul vs. Woodley, the main card also featured four other fights. But there were also a number of fights that broke out in the crowd between the alcohol-fueled fans.

Paul defeated Woodley via split decision in his native Cleveland, Ohio to improve to a perfect 4-0 as a professional boxer. Not only has Paul been winning his fights, but he has also been selling out arenas and doing huge numbers of pay-per-view. For a guy who most people thought was just a Disney star and a YouTuber two years ago, to see what he has done in the fight game since then has been pretty astonishing to watch, and Paul knows it.

The fight was the first of a multi-fight deal with Showtime boxing and it was a closer bout than many thought. In the lead-up to the fight, Paul had said he would knock out Woodley within three rounds but that was not the case. Instead, he didn’t even seem to rock “The Chosen One” and it was Woodley who nearly dropped Paul.

Paul defeated Woodley via split decision on Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a closely-contested boxing match that went the full eight-round distance, but Paul did a little bit more during the fight and earned the split nod on the scorecards. With Paul now having a big win over Woodley on his resume, it will give him the extra ammunition needed in order to capture the interest of the biggest-named fighters in the sport. And of course, the biggest out there right now is arguably McGregor, so he against Paul would be a big fight.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and professional boxing prospect Tommy Fury had a very heated face-to-face following Sunday’s boxing event. Paul and Fury both won on Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio. In the main event of the Showtime PPV boxing card, Paul defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley via split decision. On the undercard, Fury beat former Bellator fighter Anthony Taylor via unanimous decision. Following the event, Fury and Paul ran into each other backstage.
