Against all odds, the YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was able to make it to the end of the eight-round contest. ‘The Maverick’ slowed the bout down with the clinch, and the former champion had issues getting much offense off. The fight was a no-contest, due to there being no judges on hand for the fight.

Back in June, Paul and Mayweather had a highly-anticipated exhibition match that went all eight rounds and the YouTuber did better than expected. The fight was also a massive success as it did over one million pay-per-view buys. But, even with that, Logan Paul was not paid. Jake Paul later revealed that his brother was going to sue Mayweather over the debacle.

Now, he’s confirmed such announcing he will be returning on February 20, but the location is a unique one as the fight will take place on a helipad at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.

Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya called out P4P great Floyd Mayweather, saying “it’s probably the biggest fight that you can make today.” De La Hoya, who is 48 years old, has not stepped into the boxing ring since he lost to Manny Pacquiao in 2008. He was supposed to return into the boxing ring this year for Triller against former UFC champion Vitor Belfort, but the fight fell apart after de la Hoya came down with a bad case of COVID-19. De La Hoya has now recovered from his illness and he is interested in stepping back into the ring in 2022. While he is open to fighting Belfort again, De La Hoya believes he has a better idea for a fight, a rematch against Mayweather.

De La Hoya and Mayweather first met in May 2007, with Mayweather winning a split decision that night to capture the WBC light middleweight title. Now, almost 15 years later after the fact, De La Hoya wants to rematch Mayweather. Speaking to TMZ Sports in a recent interview, the legendary boxer offered Mayweather $100 million if he would take the rematch against him. In the lead-up to the fight, Jake Paul and Mayweather had some back-and-forth with words and at a media day, he stole Mayweather’s hat. That caused a brawl to happen and after that, many expected they would eventually fight. However, for Paul, he says Mayweather fighting his brother proved he wouldn’t fight him.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul believes he would knock out the legend Floyd Mayweather if they ever have a rematch inside the boxing ring. Paul and Mayweather met last month in an eight-round exhibition boxing match that went the distance. Since it was just an exhibition fight, the bout didn’t count on either fighters’ professional boxing record, so it was more of a sparring match than an actual boxing match. But even though Paul would have lost a decision had there actually been judges scoring the fight, the YouTube sensation believes that he learned a lot from his first encounter with Mayweather and believes he has what it takes to beat him in a rematch.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather trolled former opponent Conor McGregor following the broken leg he suffered in the main event of UFC 264. McGregor lost to Dustin Poirier via first-round TKO (doctor stoppage) in the main event of this past Saturday’s UFC 264 pay-per-view card. The Irishman apparently had a pre-existing injury coming into the bout, according to his coach John Kavanagh, and whatever it was, it appeared to be re-aggravated during the fight when McGregor’s kick was blocked by Poirier’s elbow. Not long after that, McGregor collapsed and then got finished. The stoppage has been made into a meme by plenty of fans and now even Mayweather is taking part in the fun, as he took to his social media to poke fun at his former rival.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather was able to cash in on Dustin Poirier defeating Conor McGregor for a second time at UFC 264 in Las Vegas. McGregor (22-6 MMA) and Poirier (28-6 MMA) squared off in a rubber match on Saturday night, this after splitting their first two encounters. The pair had initially collided in a featherweight bout at UFC 178 in September of 2014, with the Conor McGregor emerging victorious by way of first round knockout. Then, in their second contest at UFC 257 (this time at lightweight), ‘The Diamond’ was able to exact his revenge by stopping the Irishman with punches in the second round.

New video footage shows that YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul told Floyd Mayweather to “take it easy” during their exhibition boxing match. Paul and Mayweather met on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida in an eight-round exhibition match between the popular YouTube star and the boxing legend. Although Paul was able to tough it out and survive the full eight rounds with Mayweather, he did take a beating during the fight and would have lost a decision had it been considered a professional boxing match with judges. Since it was just an exhibition bout, there were no judges, so there was no official winner or loser of their boxing match.
