It appears that Paige VanZant isn’t fully done with competing in BKFC. ‘12 Gauge’ hasn’t been seen in combat sports since a rematch with Rachel Ostovich in July 2021. That bout took place just two and a half years after Paige VanZant defeated the Hawaiian in the UFC cage. However, their bare-knuckle boxing match looked radically different.

Bare-knuckle boxing has taken off in the last few years and BKFC have been at the forefront of that. They have worked incredibly hard to put on some blockbuster events and last weekend, we saw another one. BKFC 56 went down in Salt Lake City with the main event pitting Mike Perry against Eddie Alvarez. In what proved to be an incredible bout, it was BKFC regular Mike Perry who got his hand raised in victory.

Eddie Alvarez has revealed the injuries he sustained in his BKFC 56 loss to Mike Perry. Alvarez made his second sans gloves appearance on Saturday night, squaring off with Perry for the ‘King of Violence’ title. The former UFC and Bellator champion had made his promotional debut earlier this year, defeating Chad Mendes by decision.
