The 155th episode of Just Scrap Radio is live to preview UFC Vegas 87 and talk about the latest in combat sports.
We’re first joined by BKFC founder David Feldman (1:16). Next, 12th-ranked UFC heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik (16:01) comes on. Closing out the show is former UFC featherweight Steven Peterson (24:45).
David Feldman opens up the show to talk about the latest with BKFC. Feldman talks about his meeting with Dana White, and expansion into Canada and other places. He then chats about KnuckleMania coming up, top-level boxers reaching out to him wanting to do BKFC, and updates on Mike Perry, Paige VanZant, and Eddie Alvarez among others.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik comes on to discuss his UFC Vegas 87 main event fight against Shamiel Gaziev. Rozenstruik talks about the fight being moved from Saudi Arabia and now being the main event. He then chats about the style matchup and how familiar he was with Gaziev. Rozenstruik then talks about what a win does for him and the state of the heavyweight division.
Steven Peterson closes out the show to discuss his retirement and what he has been doing since retiring a year ago. He talks about his UFC career, whether or not he has any regrets about his career, and if he has thought about returning.
