Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is looking to add Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem to their heavyweight roster. It was recently revealed both dos Santos and Overeem were removed from the heavyweight ranks. Shortly thereafter, it was reported both men were released from the promotion and they both confirmed the news on their social media.

VanZant entered the combat sports limelight as a member of the UFC roster, quickly becoming one of the promotion’s biggest stars. In mid-2020, however, she parted ways with the mixed martial arts promotion and signed with BKFC.

VanZant who achieved massive fame as a member of the UFC roster, signed with BKFC late last year, and finally made her debut with the bare knuckle promotion in early February. While she came up short in her debut, losing a decision to Britain Hart, she had plenty of success in the matchup and wowed many onlookers with her toughness.

VanZant made her BKFC debut earlier this month at the promotions KnuckleMania event. Unfortunately for ’12 Gauge’, she wound up suffering a unanimous decision loss to Britain Hart that evening.

This past Friday night at BKFC: KnuckleMania, Paige VanZant had her bare-knuckle boxing debut spoiled by the promotional veteran, Britain Hart. What immediately followed was one of the more talked about post-fight interviews in recent memory. Taking to the mic, Hart described herself as not a person but “a f*cking feeling.” Then proceeded to tell viewers and spectators alike that they were all going to feel what’s coming.

Mixed martial arts veteran Chris Leben says he would consider returning to fighting for a bout with YouTube sensation Jake Paul. Leben (22-12 MMA, 3-1 BK) returned to action at Friday’s BKFC KnuckleMania event for a highly anticipated showdown with Quentin Henry. Prior to the contest, ‘The Crippler’ had announced that his bout with ‘The Hero’ would be the final fight of his combat sports career.

Quentin Henry entered last night’s BKFC bout with UFC veteran Chris Leben in hopes of earning his third straight first round stoppage. Henry (12-6 MMA, 2-1 BKFC) had most previously competed at BKFC 15, where he needed just 25-seconds to finish Jason Fann.

Leben, who had previously announced his retirement in 2020, entered tonight’s contest sporting a 2-1 professional bare knuckle record with his last bout taking place in June 2019. ‘The Crippler’ had previously been able to defeat Phil Baroni and Justin Baesman with his one and only loss up to this point being a decision against Dakota Cochrane.

On Friday night, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will promote its first event of 2021 in BKFC: KnuckleMania, a card topped by the promotional debut of Paige VanZant. VanZant will make her BKFC debut opposite boxer turned bare-knuckle fighter Britain Hart, a woman widely viewed as a tough challenge for the former UFC star. Heading into the matchup, Hart is 1-2 under the BKFC banner. VanZant, on the other hand, will be looking to get back to winning ways after being submitted by Amanda Ribas in the final bout of her UFC contract last year.

Women’s superstar Paige VanZant got into a heated shoving match with rival Britain Hart at the BKFC 16 weigh-ins on Thursday night. VanZant, the former UFC women’s star, surprised combat sports fans when she decided to take her talents to BKFC. On Friday night, she takes on Hart in a fight that got very personal at the official weigh-ins. VanZant made weight, coming in at 126lbs, and Hart did, too, coming in at 124.4lbs. BKFC fighter Paige VanZant blasted her haters ahead of her upcoming bout, telling them that she will still be beautiful even if she gets cut. VanZant left the UFC last year to sign a big-money, free-agent contract with BKFC. Next weekend, VanZant makes her bare-knuckle boxing debut against Britain Hart on February 5 during the Super Bowl weekend card. VanZant’s decision to move from MMA to BKFC, where the likelihood of her face getting cut is very high, has led to criticism from fans online, many of who believe she is making the wrong call. Her critics believe that VanZant will get cut open in BKFC which could harm her earning as an Instagram model. To those haters, VanZant has two words for them: grow up.

UFC strawweight contender Amanda Ribas believes her former opponent, Paige VanZant, will do well as a bare-knuckle fighter in BKFC. Ribas and VanZant fought in the Octagon in July, 2020, with the former winning by submission. The fight marked the final obligation on VanZant’s UFC contract. After a period of free agency, she signed with BKFC, and is slated to debut against Britain Hart on February 5.
