Chad Anheliger is ready to finally make his UFC debut. The 36-year-old, Alberta native started his MMA career out 2-5 but has since rallied off nine wins in a row, including his last on the Contender Series. He will now make his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 48 against Jesse Strader which is a fight he’s excited about.

India Arie has given some advice to UFC commentator Joe Rogan. The comedian has been in the headlines for a variety of controversies the past month. First getting into trouble for his comments on vaccines, he’s since come under fire for racism. A video that went viral featured Rogan using racial slurs, as well as making a joke where he compares an all-black neighborhood to the movie ‘Planet of the Apes’.
Michael Bisping explains why "there's a good chance" Bobby Green beats Islam Makhachev

Even though Bobby Green is taking a fight against Islam Makhachev on 10 days’ notice, Michael Bisping believes there’s a good chance “King” gets his hand raised. Green defeated Nasrat Haqparast by decision at UFC 271 on February 12 and not even a week later, he agreed to headline UFC Vegas 49 on February 19 as he will take on Islam Makhachev. He’s a massive underdog heading into the fight and not many are giving Green a chance, but Bisping believes the longtime UFC veteran has all the tools to upset Makhachev.

Michael Chandler believes he is a terrible matchup for Tony Ferguson. Chandler and Ferguson are linked to fighting one another on May 7 at UFC 274 in a highly-anticipated lightweight bout. Both men are all-action fighters as they are always in entertaining fights, and for “Iron” he says he’s eager to test himself against someone like Ferguson.

Brendan Schaub spoke on his ‘The Schaub Show’ podcast about a Kamaru Usman vs Khamzat Chimaev potential future fight. Khamzat (10-0 MMA), the welterweight force to be reckoned with, has currently agreed to fight Gilbert Burns (20-4 MMA) at UFC 273 on April 9th, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida . Confirmation from the UFC is still to come.

Following UFC 271 last Saturday, February 12th Brendan Schaub did a recap on his ‘The Schaub Show’ podcast on YouTube. Schaub spoke about UFC President, Dana White, and vowed to never ‘talk sh*t about Dana White again’. Schaub (10-5 MMA) officially retired from the UFC back in 2015. Since then he has gone on to perform stand-up comedy and is currently active as a podcast host.

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland has echoed Marvin Vettori by confirming that Beneil Dariush is legitimately injured. Next Saturday’s Fight Night main event was supposed to see Beneil Dariush take on Islam Makhachev in an important lightweight clash, with many believing the winner would earn themselves a shot at the title. Alas, an injury to Dariush has ruled him out of the contest, with Bobby Green now stepping in on short notice to try and stop the surge of Makhachev.

Khamzat Chimaev is doing his best to motivate Darren Till as the pair train together at the Allstars Training Center in Sweden. Chimaev (10-0 MMA), age 27, has taken the UFC by storm since making his Octagon debut in July of 2020. ‘The Wolf’ has scored stoppage wins in all four of his UFC fights, finishing opponents John Phillips, Rhys McKee, Gerald Meerschaert and Li Jingliang along the way.

Jonathan Pearce plans to show Christian Rodriguez that there are levels to this game. Pearce was supposed to fight Austin Lingo at UFC Vegas 48. However, Lingo was forced to withdraw from the contest and the undefeated fighter in Rodriguez stepped up. Although Rodriguez is undefeated and even won the Contender Series, Pearce doesn’t think he’s on his level and he’ll show that with a first-round finish.
Bobby Green says he's the BMF champ of the lightweight division after taking Islam Makhachev fight

Bobby Green didn’t think twice about taking the fight against Islam Makhachev on short notice. Green defeated Nasrat Haqparast by decision at UFC 271 on February 12 and not even a week later, he agreed to headline UFC Vegas 49 on February 19 as he will take on Islam Makhachev. The Dagestani fighter was supposed to face Beneil Dariush, who unfortunately suffered an injury and was forced out of the bout.

Conor McGregor’s manager has revealed that he thinks ‘The Notorious’ could be fighting for UFC gold next. The former dual-weight champion has been out of the cage since his injury loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. The loss gave Conor McGregor three losses in his last four fights inside the cage. During that stretch, he also lost to Floyd Mayweather inside of the boxing ring in 2017.

Tyron Woodley used to train with both Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington so he is well-versed in knowing how they match up against one another. All three welterweights used to train at American Top Team and for Woodley, he believes those past training sessions give Masvidal the advantage. According to “The Chosen One” he says “Gamebred” was the big brother in training and it’s hard to get past that.

Luke Rockhold is hoping to make his return in June against Paulo Costa. Rockhold has not fought since UFC 239 where he suffered a KO loss to Jan Blachowicz in his light heavyweight debut. Since then, he was booked to fight Sean Strickland at UFC 268, but was forced out of the bout due to an injury. Now, the former champion says he wants to face Costa next, as long as the Brazilian can make weight.

On February 12th at UFC 271, Joe Rogan who was supposed to be cageside, but was not, and didn’t provide commentary on the fights due to a ‘conflict of schedule’. At the last minute, Michael Bisping took his place. Bisping had mixed reviews, and a fair bit of criticism on how he handled his pay-per-view debut.
