Weidman (16-7 MMA) was looking to snap a two-fight losing skid when he took to the Octagon this evening in New Jersey. The ‘All American’ had most previously competed in August of last year at UFC 292, where he lost a unanimous decision to Brad Tavares. Prior to that, the 39-year-old had suffered a broken leg in his bout against Uriah Hall at UFC 261.

Prior to that, ‘Cold Blooded’ had scored three submission wins in a row, finishing JJ Aldrich, Molly McCann and Jessica Andrade in that stretch.

Behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of Road House starring former UFC champion Conor McGregor has emerged. ‘The Notorious’ along with Jake Gyllenhaal starred in the remake of the 80s classic, which was released earlier this week. For the most part, the film has received average to positive reviews and has done well on Amazon Prime Video. Most of the praise was directed at Gyllenhaal, as well as the debuting Conor McGregor.

After Nurmagomedov retired, there were rumors of him ending his retirement to face St-Pierre in a super-fight, but it never came to fruition. It is one of the biggest what-if questions in the UFC, as the two are among the best fighters ever to compete.
