Tom Aspinall has revealed that he expected to fight for a title regardless of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic’s cancelation. As Dana White revealed last night, ‘Bones’ is now out of UFC 295. Jon Jones was originally slated to headline the card against Stipe Miocic in his first heavyweight title defense. Instead, fans will get to see Tom Aspinall vs. Sergei Pavlovich in the co-main event, as they will battle for interim gold.

Tom Aspinall is reacting after booking an interim heavyweight title fight against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 saying ‘I’m doing a Bisping’. With the news that Jon ‘Bones’ Jones (27-1 MMA) suffered an injury, the upcoming bout between Jones and Stipe Miocic (20-4 MMA) will no longer be on the card for UFC 295.

Although, several fans and pundits believed that the longtime light-heavyweight deserved the nod that night.

UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall claims he will be working with Tyson Fury ahead of a boxing match with Francis Ngannou. Fury and Ngannou are set to collide in a pro boxing match on October 28. The bout will be held in Saudi Arabia. “The Predator” is already working with Mike Tyson ahead of the fight. As for Aspinall, he’ll actually be giving “The Gypsy King” a helping hand.

There, he scored a first-round knockout win, in his first fight in a year. Following the victory, Tom Aspinall took to the microphone to call for the winner of Ciryl Gane vs. Sergey Spivac, going down in France later this year.

Aspinall entered the fight coming off a year away after tearing his MCL just seconds into his fight against Curtis Blaydes last July. Prior to that, the Brit was 5-0 in the UFC and had beaten the likes of Alexander Volkov and Andrei Arlovski by stoppage.
