Cyborg (27-2 MMA) will be competing for the first time since scoring a first-round TKO victory over Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 in October of 2023. The former UFC champion has gone 6-0 since making the move the Bellator in July of 2019.

Former Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi is now suing the PFL. ‘The Dreamcatcher’ hasn’t been seen in the cage in well over a year. Gegard Mousasi’s last appearance came in the main event of Bellator 296 in Paris against former title challenger Fabian Edwards. The bout came just a few months after Johnny Eblen ended the champion’s time at the top with a brutal decision loss.

Holly Holm is backing Cris Cyborg to defeat Larissa Pacheco this weekend in her PFL debut. The two Brazilians are currently set to meet in the co-main event of Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira on Saturday. Larissa Pacheco enters the fight red-hot, riding a ten-fight winning streak over the likes of Julia Budd and Kayla Harrison. Meanwhile, Cris Cyborg hasn’t competed since a knockout win over Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 last October.

Following a victory over the latter in late 2023, she parted ways with the company.

PFL CEO Peter Murray has confirmed Jake Paul will fight in MMA after facing Mike Tyson. ‘The Problem Child’ is set to make his return to the boxing ring on November 15th in Dallas. Fresh off a knockout victory over Mike Perry in July, Jake Paul will face the legendary Mike Tyson. The two were previously booked to clash in the summer, but health issues forced the 58-year-old boxer out of the matchup.

Ngannou is scheduled to return to the MMA cage to make his PFL debut against Renan Ferreira on October 19th in Riyadh. He’ll make his return to MMA just mere months after the tragic death of his son, Kobe, after a medical emergency in Cameroon.
