Former Bellator middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi is now suing the PFL. ‘The Dreamcatcher’ hasn’t been seen in the cage in well over a year. Gegard Mousasi’s last appearance came in the main event of Bellator 296 in Paris against former title challenger Fabian Edwards. The bout came just a few months after Johnny Eblen ended the champion’s time at the top with a brutal decision loss.

The two Brazilians are currently set to meet in the co-main event of Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira on Saturday. Larissa Pacheco enters the fight red-hot, riding a ten-fight winning streak over the likes of Julia Budd and Kayla Harrison. Meanwhile, Cris Cyborg hasn’t competed since a knockout win over Cat Zingano at Bellator 300 last October.

Back for the first time since a decision victory over Ciryl Gane in early 2022, Francis Ngannou will face Renan Ferreira. The bout will be the former champion’s first under the PFL banner, but not his first since leaving the UFC.

Cormier sat cage-side as UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defeated Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307. Pereira defended the belt for the third time in just seven months and rallied from early adversity to finish Rountree.

After defeating Vieira and remaining unbeaten in her UFC tenure, Harrison is likely next in line for the bantamweight title shot.

PFL founder Donn Davis still has issues with UFC women’s bantamweight contender Kayla Harrison. The judoka famously made her name in the PFL from 2018 to 2023. Over those five years, Kayla Harrison won two women’s lightweight tournaments, defeating various UFC veterans such as Cindy Dandois and Aspen Ladd. Following a victory over the latter in late 2023, she parted ways with the company.

PFL has revealed the full fight card ahead of their blockbuster Battle of the Giants pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia. Later this month on October 19, the PFL heads to Saudi Arabia for probably the biggest event in the company’s history. They will showcase a range of blockbuster fights from top to bottom, with the kind of card that can go head to head with a lot of the UFC’s offerings this year.

Following a unanimous decision victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 270, Francis Ngannou parted ways with the Dana White-led promotion. The following year, the former heavyweight champion signed with the PFL.

PFL CEO Peter Murray has confirmed Jake Paul will fight in MMA after facing Mike Tyson. ‘The Problem Child’ is set to make his return to the boxing ring on November 15th in Dallas. Fresh off a knockout victory over Mike Perry in July, Jake Paul will face the legendary Mike Tyson. The two were previously booked to clash in the summer, but health issues forced the 58-year-old boxer out of the matchup.

Tommy Fury last appeared in the boxing ring last October, against YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI. Despite some early trouble from ‘The Nightmare’, the younger brother of Tyson Fury wound up securing a unanimous decision victory.

However, while ‘The Predator’ is finally set to enter the cage next month, Jake Paul lacks an MMA fight date.
