Sean Strickland trashed Sean O’Malley over his new 6ix9ine tattoo, calling him a “f*cking bitch” and wondering what is going on in his head. Earlier this week, O’Malley got a tattoo of the number ’69’ on his right shoulder, and it was tattooed by the rapper 6ix9ine himself. Although 6ix9ine is a popular rapper, he is extremely controversial for his past, which includes a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance in 2015, in which he made sexual videos of a 13-year-olf girl. Then in 2019, he agreed to a plea deal for two years in prison after agreeing to testify against the Nine Trey gang members. In August 2020, 6ix9ine was released early from his prison term, and he is now a free man, though his checkered past still continues to haunt him.

The official weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 32 took place on Friday in Las Vegas, Nevada, and all 22 fighters scheduled to compete have made weight. TJ Dillashaw and Cory Sandhagen are former teammates and the winner of this fight could very well be in line for a future title shot at 135lbs. Dillashaw is making his return to the Octagon after 30 months away following a PED suspension, while Sandhagen is riding into this fight with all sorts of momentum after beating Frankie Edgar and Marlon Moraes by knockout in his last two fights. Both Sandhagen and Dillashaw successfully made weight on Friday, with each man coming in at 136lbs, and the UFC Vegas 32 headliner is now official.

Maycee Barber has heard all the talk that the UFC will release her if she loses to Miranda Maverick at UFC Vegas 32 on Saturday. Barber was once considered a top prospect and many thought could challenge for a UFC title. However, at UFC 246 she suffered her first career loss by decision to Roxanne Modafferi in a fight she tore her knee. She returned back in February of this year at UFC 258 and suffered another setback as she dropped a decision to Alexa Grasso.

Cody Garbrandt slammed TJ Dillashaw for the comments he has made ahead of his UFC return, saying there is “nothing honest about this guy.” Dillashaw returns to the Octagon this Saturday night in the main event of UFC Vegas 32 when he takes on former training partner Cory Sandhagen. Another former training partner of Dillashaw’s is Garbrandt, his former rival who he knocked out twice in UFC bantamweight title fights. Ahead of his return to the Octagon, Dillashaw has been making the media rounds and talking about his two-year suspension for performance-enhancing drugs, which he readily admits he used and served his time for. While a lot of fans and media have been praising Dillashaw for being open and honest about his past drug use in the sport, Garbrandt believes that there is nothing honest about what Dillashaw is saying.

UFC welterweight contender Gilbert Burns explained why he wants to fight Leon Edwards next, saying “he is the toughest guy in the division.” Burns is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Stephen Thompson earlier this month at UFC 264 that reaffirmed his spot among the top-five welterweights in the world. Coming off of a brutal knockout loss to UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman earlier this year, Burns knew that his back was against the wall and that he needed to beat “Wonderboy,” and he did just that. By defeating Thompson, Burns cemented his spot as an elite welterweight, and he has spent the last few weeks calling out the other top fighters.

One of the top-ranked contenders at 135lbs, Cory Sandhagen wants a bantamweight title shot with a win over TJ Dillashaw at UFC Vegas 32. Sandhagen takes on Dillashaw in the main event of Saturday’s UFC Vegas 32 card. The two former training partners-turned-bitter rivals are two of the best fighters in the world in their weight class and there is certainly a chance that this bout could have potential title implications. For Sandhagen, he is coming off of back-to-back knockout wins over Frankie Edgar and Marlon Moraes that he believes have him one win away from a title shot.

Former UFC women’s flyweight and current bare-knuckle fighter Paige VanZant promises fans they will see a “brand new fighter” at BKFC 19. VanZant takes on former MMA rival Rachael Ostovich in a rematch Friday night at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida. The two women previously met in the UFC in January 2019, with VanZant winning the fight via submission. Now that the rematch will take place in BKFC, there will be no submission finish this time around as the fight will be taking place entirely on the feet and not on the ground. For VanZant, this will be her second BKFC contest, while for Ostovich this is the first time she has fought bare-knuckle.

Although many believe the winner of this fight will face the winner of Sterling vs. Petr Yan 2, the bantamweight champ disagrees. Instead, he thinks if Sandhagen wins, he doesn’t deserve a title shot, but he thinks Dillashaw would get one if he wins.

Silva is considered by many fans to be one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time himself, so his opinion truly matters when it comes to the MMA GOAT discussion. Speaking to GiveMeSport, Silva was asked who would be on his Mt. Rushmore for the four greatest mixed martial artists of all time. According to “The Spider,” he would put the aforementioned Penn, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Royce Gracie, and Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira in his top-four of all time.

UFC lightweight contender Dustin Poirier slammed “mentally weak” rival Conor McGregor for his injury excuses following UFC 264. Poirier defeated McGregor via first-round TKO at UFC 264 earlier this month to claim the pair’s trilogy by a score of 2-1. However, the ending of the fight was controversial as McGregor broke his leg which directly led to the finish. Since the fight has gone down, McGregor has come out publicly and stated that he had an injury heading into the Poirier fight. But as far as “The Diamond” goes, he doesn’t care for McGregor’s excuses.

Adrian Yanez sees a lot of similarities between his UFC Vegas 32 fight against Randy Costa and the first time Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor fought. Yanez and Costa are both coming off back-to-back highlight-reel KO wins. They also both have a lot of hype behind them. Yet, many have said this fight is happening too soon. Yanez, however, disagrees with it as he thinks they will eventually meet again years down the line in a much bigger fight similar to Poirier and McGregor.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul has opened up as the betting favorite for a potential boxing match with MMA legend Anderson Silva. Paul’s manager Jeff Levin confirmed with ESPN on Wednesday that the reports of a potential Paul vs. Silva boxing match are accurate. According to the report, it hasn’t been determined yet whether or not this would be an exhibition bout or a professional boxing match, and the weight class and rounds would have to be determined, too. But it does appear that there is smoke where the fire is and that Paul vs. Silva is very possible.

Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen explained why EPO was his preferred drug of choice, saying that “it’s going to give you more endurance.” Sonnen was a big star for the UFC in the early part of the 2010s but his career went downhill after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs on three occasions, which eventually led to the end of his career in the UFC. He finished off his career with a stint in Bellator, and ever since retiring in 2019, Sonnen has been incredibly open about his previous use of performance-enhancing drugs during his mixed martial arts career.

Rafael dos Anjos says he wants to beat Islam Makhachev at UFC 267 and then get the rematch with his teammate Khabib Nurmagomedov. Dos Anjos and Nurmagomedov fought back in 2014, with Nurmagomedov winning the fight via unanimous decision. However, in a twist of fate, Nurmagomedov suffered an injury following that fight, and dos Anjos actually got the chance to fight for the UFC lightweight belt before him, defeating Anthony Pettis to take home the title in 2015. Dos Anjos would lose the belt in 2016 to Eddie Alvarez, and Nurmagomedov finally claimed it himself in 2018 when he defeated Al Iaquinta. Although Nurmagomedov is now retired from MMA, dos Anjos still wants this rematch one day in order to avenge his earlier career defeat.

Dillashaw returns from a 30-month layoff this weekend when he takes on his former training partner Sandhagen in a potential No. 1 contender bout at 135lbs. Remember, Dillashaw never lost his belt in a fight, but rather gave it up when he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Dillashaw has been open about why he used PEDs before his fight with Henry Cejudo, but Covington doesn’t stand for anyone that cheats in MMA.

New UFC 155lbs champion Charles Oliveira is predicting that he gets a submission finish over Dustin Poirier for the UFC lightweight title. Oliveira knocked out Michael Chandler at UFC 262 in May to become the new UFC lightweight champion after former belt holder Khabib Nurmagomedov relinquished his title earlier this year. After knocking out Chandler and winning the belt, Oliveira is now poised to fight Poirier for the belt later this year after “The Diamond” stopped Conor McGregor in their trilogy fight earlier this month at UFC 264. The plan from the UFC is to have Oliveira and Poirier meet up later this year with the lightweight belt of “Do Bronx” on the line.
