UFC middleweights Darren Till and Sean Strickland bonded on Twitter yesterday – because they’ve both had their Instagram accounts deleted. The middleweight division is as exciting as it has been in a long time and two of the many reasons for that are Darren Till and Sean Strickland. Both men have had their fair share of ups and downs but along the way, they’ve created some fascinating personas for themselves on social media. Till is recognized for being a bit of a comedian whereas Strickland, to put it lightly, says things that can often be construed as controversial.

Paulo Costa will remain at middleweight, his manager Wallid Ismail revealed. Costa headlined a UFC Fight Night card back in October against fellow middleweight contender Marvin Vettori. The contest was originally slated for 185lbs, but on the week of the fight it was revealed ‘The Eraser’ could not make weight and the fight was then moved to 195lbs.

According to TMZ, through law enforcement sources, cops were called to the ARIA hotel during the early hours of Tuesday morning after Derulo threw fists with two men. According to the report one of the individuals was attempting to troll the singer by calling him Usher which caused ‘JD’ to snap.

Dustin Poirier revealed on Twitter just this morning that a short-notice UFC fight with Nate Diaz is nearly finalized: “I’m not holding my tongue, it is Nate Diaz. I’m not going to say what card, I’m not going to say a date,” Poirier told Teddy Atlas.“He said something like, ‘Let’s do it.’ I said yes, now I’m just waiting on him.”

The back and forth first round was followed by an emphatic second round performance from “Do Bronx”, leaving Poirier to wonder what’s next for him in the UFC.

Din Thomas, Tyron Woodley’s coach is praising him for being a good sport after losing to Jake Paul on December 18th in Tampa, Florida. ‘The Chosen One’ was knocked out cold in the sixth round, with Jake Paul extending his winning record to a perfect 5-0. It was Woodley’s second encounter with Jake Paul, the first ending in a split decision to ‘The Problem Child’ in August 2021. It’s also worth noting that this marked Woodley’s sixth straight loss in combat sports.
