UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev will return to the cage this summer for his second UFC appearance against Charles Johnson, as per ESPN. When you talk about hot prospects in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, it’s hard to look past Muhammad Mokaev. The 21-year-old had an incredible amateur career and was able to successfully transition into a strong contender as a pro, with his record currently being 6-0.

One rule in life that should be clear above all others is that you shouldn’t mess with someone like Mike Tyson. Of course, we all know violence isn’t the answer in many instances, but the general consensus seems to be that “Iron Mike” made the right call when he beat down a passenger on a flight of his who was seemingly agitating him.

Chael Sonnen believes Darren Till’s recent comments about UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya are a show of weakness. Till (18-4-1 MMA), a former UFC welterweight title challenger, has lost four of his last five fights including two straight in the middleweight division. Now seemingly on the outside of the 185lbs title picture, the Liverpool native admitted that a fight with reigning champion Israel Adesanya is likely a “long way off”.

Sabatello is 1-0 in Bellator with a dominant decision win over Brett Johns, but he still thinks he hasn’t gotten the respect he deserves. Due to recent injuries, Sabatello has to face Jornel Lugo on Friday at Bellator 278 to earn his way into the grand prix.

Anderson (11-5 MMA) has been out of the cage since coming up short in her featherweight title fight against Amanda Nunes at UFC 259. Shortly following that setback, it was revealed that the Aussie’s contract had expired with the UFC and she was now a free agent.

His comments on certain subjects have gotten him involved with Khalil Roundtree, Colby Covington, and Jan Blachowicz, all of whom have received insults from Strickland.

Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg didn’t believe she was ever going to fight Kayla Harrison. The two women’s champions were in discussions for a fight earlier this year. Following Harrison’s contract expiring with PFL, there was widespread talk that she was going to sign with either Bellator or the UFC. As a result, she was quickly linked to a bout with Cyborg. Harrison even challenged the Bellator featherweight champion to a gym fight on social media at one point.

Recently, Paul and Bisping have taken shots at one another as the brash YouTuber-turned-boxer called him out. Puelles is on a four-fight win streak and is 4-1 in the UFC and after his last win, which came by stoppage, he wasn’t sure what would be next for him. He thought he might get a top-15 opponent, but what he thought was more likely was for him to face another prospect where the winner would then get a top-15 opponent.

It seems everyone is weighing in on who Conor McGregor’s next opponent should be, the latest being UFC commentator Joe Rogan. McGregor (22-6 MMA) hasn’t fought since July of 2021 where he went down to defeat in a lightweight battle with Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA) at UFC 264. It was during that fight that McGregor broke his leg and he’s been rehabilitating every since. Now back to training, the Irish fighter is hoping to return to the cage by the summer of this year.

Jorge Masvidal has shared his thoughts on Khamzat Chimaev. Khamzat (11-1 MMA) seems to be the fighter everyone is talking about. The Swede is just coming off a unanimous decision win at UFC 273 where he defeated Gilbert Burns (20-5 MMA) in the welterweight bout. The duo won ‘Fight of the Night’ honors and saw Chimaev break into the top five of the 170lb rankings.

PFL champion Antonio Carlos Junior has claimed that he made more in one year with the promotion than he did in 13 fights with UFC. While he may have always been an intriguing fighter to watch during his time with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, we never saw Carlos Junior reach the heights that many thought he was capable of. After falling to three straight defeats, the Brazilian made his way over to PFL and entered their light heavyweight tournament.
