Paulo Costa is looking to run things back with Marvin Vettori. Costa and Vettori headlined a Fight Night card back in October in a light heavyweight bout, this after the Brazilian showed up on fight week heavy. Ultimately, it didn’t help him, as it was Vettori winning by decision. Since then, Costa has been vocal in wanting to rematch him.

UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo doesn’t want to see an interim title being made anytime soon. The Brazilian was last seen at UFC 270 in January for his trilogy bout with Brandon Moreno. Figueiredo re-captured the flyweight crown via unanimous decision, and a fourth fight seemed to be on the way. However, the new champion began gunning to fight anyone but Moreno.

Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade is back at 115 pounds this weekend. The move comes after a brief run at flyweight, where she had three fights. The Brazilian is set to face Amanda Lemos in the main event of UFC Vegas 52 this weekend. It will be her first fight at strawweight since her split decision loss to Rose Namajunas at UFC 251 in July 2020.

After Medeiros was released from the UFC following his fourth straight loss, he made it known he wanted to fight for Bellator on one of the two Hawaii cards. After making it public, Scott Coker and Bellator gave him the opportunity to fight on Bellator 279 on Saturday in Hawaii which Medeiros is ecstatic about.

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has discussed his upcoming fight with T.J. Dillashaw. ‘Funk Master’ was last seen in action at UFC 273 earlier this month. Sterling moved to 2-0 in his series against Petr Yan, winning by split decision. Following the bout, UFC president Dana White opined that a fight against T.J. Dillashaw makes sense next.

His mental state was further questioned when he requested the fight to be moved to middleweight just days away from the contest.

Askren, 37, is a former professional mixed martial artist and amateur wrestler. ‘Funky’ is the former Bellator and ONE Welterweight Champion, who remained undefeated for over a decade before competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Ben Askren (19-2 MMA) retired from active competition after his loss to Demian Maia (28-11 MMA) back in October of 2019.

Nate Diaz doesn’t like the UFC selling NFTs of him and his brother Nick. The UFC recently created UFC strike which puts KOs, submissions, or moments into NFTs for fans to buy and sell. They have had a few drops now but on 4/20, they released special Nick and Nate Diaz moments which Nate isn’t a fan of.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has taken to Instagram to reflect on his win over Rafael Dos Anjos way back in April of 2014. Khabib, 33, (29-0 MMA), is a Russian former professional mixed martial artist. Competing in the lightweight division of the UFC, he was the longest-reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, having held the title from April 2018 to March 2021. It was in 2021 that ‘The Eagle’, with never tasting defeat after 29 professional bouts, officially announced his retirement from the sport.

Jorge Masvidal is convinced that reigning UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is beatable. Usman has not lost in the UFC and is currently riding a 19-fight win streak. He has also defended his belt five times, so with that, he is atop the pound-for-pound rankings. However, for Masvidal, he says that doesn’t mean Usman is untouchable, as he says the champ’s striking and striking defense can be exposed.
