Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has praised Jake Paul and Logan Paul for what they’ve helped bring to combat sports. Over the course of the last few years we’ve seen the rise of the Paul brothers in boxing, pro wrestling and, to a certain extent, mixed martial arts. Their main focus has been on the squared circle with the pair fighting a string of big names between them, most notably Floyd Mayweather and Tyron Woodley.

MMA analyst Chael Sonnen believes Dana White may have felt betrayed by Francis Ngannou appearing in the ring with Tyson Fury on Saturday night. Over the weekend, one of the biggest combat sports events of the year went down at Wembley Stadium in London, England. A crowd of over 94,000 people were in attendance to see Tyson Fury defend The Ring and WBC heavyweight titles against Dillian Whyte and in the end, ‘The Gypsy King’ made it look easy before securing a sixth-round knockout win over his rival.

Canelo Alvarez doesn’t have a ton of interest in boxing Kamaru Usman. Usman and Alvarez are the current top pound-for-pound fighters in MMA and boxing, respectively, so with that, the UFC’s welterweight champ has called out the Mexican to box. He believes it would be a massive fight and one he thinks he can actually win, but Dana White hasn’t shown much interest in making it happen.

Former UFC dual-weight champion Henry Cejudo believes he’ll be back in action within six months. ‘Triple C’ was last seen in action at UFC 249 in May 2020. Following a knockout win over Dominick Cruz, Cejudo announced his retirement. Almost immediately after that announcement, the champion started discussing a comeback.

His run in the cage came to an end following his diagnosis of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. However, in 2018, he announced that he was cleared to return to competition.

Conor McGregor appears to be inching closer to a return to the UFC. McGregor has not fought since he broke his leg in the trilogy match against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 last July. Since the injury, he had surgery but has recently been back in the gym as he looks to be nearly fully recovered. With that, he posted to Instagram that the countdown is on for his next fight.
Francis Ngannou confirms re-signing with UFC is a possibility, but not without Tyson Fury fight: "It's not an option"

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has left the door open to return to the promotion. However, it’s not without a price. ‘The Predator’ was last seen in action at UFC 270 in January of this year. Ngannou captured a unanimous decision victory over his former training partner Ciryl Gane, retaining his title. Following the bout, he confirmed that he was unlikely to return to the UFC.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 52, a strawweight bout headlined the card as Jessica Andrade dropped back down to the division to face Amanda Lemos. Andrade entered the fight coming off a first-round TKO over Cynthia Calvillo to return to the win column after losing by TKO to Valentina Shevchenko in a fight for the 125lbs belt. She went 2-1 at flyweight but opted to return to the division where she was previously champion.

Ben Rothwell has opened up on his departure from the UFC. Rothwell was scheduled to face Alexander Gustafsson on May 21 but was surprisingly released by the promotion just weeks before the fight. Originally there was no word on why he was let go, but now ‘Big Ben’ has revealed that he was the one who asked for the release.

He suffered the injury during his July 2021 trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier. The “Notorious” one underwent successful surgery and made it clear that he would take his time in the recovery process.
