Paulo Costa is nearing free agency. Prior to Costa’s UFC 278 fight against Luke Rockhold, he had said that he was fighting out his contract. However, he later corrected that as he shared that he still had one more fight left on his deal. Even though he was still under contract, Costa made it known he was not happy with his deal and planned on testing free agency.

Marina Rodriguez is expecting a fan-friendly fight as she prepares to headline UFC Vegas 64 against Amanda Lemos. Rodriguez is on a four-fight win streak and coming off a split-decision win over Yan Xiaonan in a very entertaining bout. Prior to that, she defeated Mackenzie Dern and Michelle Waterson in her first UFC main events. The bout against Dern earned her a ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus and she expects to get the same bonus again on Saturday against Lemos.

Israel Adesanya doesn’t think Alex Pereira will be able to last with him at UFC 281. Adesanya is set to defend his middleweight title in the main event of UFC 281 as he takes on Pereira. It’s a highly-anticipated fight as the two fought twice previously in kickboxing with Pereira winning one by decision and one by KO. However, in MMA, Adesanya believes it’s much different fight and he plans to rewrite history next Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
