Henry Cejudo has criticized Brandon Moreno for some of the comments he made following his victory at UFC 283. Last weekend at UFC 283, Brandon Moreno did it again. He beat Deiveson Figueiredo to become the new UFC flyweight champion. It came after a dominant performance, although the bout ended in unfortunate circumstances with the Brazilian crowd turning on Moreno after what they thought was an eye poke.

Despite the reservations of many, Dana White’s Power Slap show premiered earlier this month as planned. The idea was already under great scrutiny and then, to start off 2023, footage was released of White striking his wife at a club on New Year’s Eve.

Brandon Moreno went into his UFC 283 flyweight title fight against Deiveson Figueiredo injured. Moreno and Figueiredo had their fourth fight for the flyweight title at UFC 283 in Brazil on Saturday night. The two were 1-1-1 against each other, so the fourth fight was set to settle it all and it was Moreno who won by doctor stoppage after the third round.

Yet, according to Spicely, he was offered a spot on Power Slap and was shocked by what the promotion was paying people to compete in it.

In that outing, O’Malley and ‘No Mercy’ went back and forth for 15 grueling minutes. While many felt the former champion deserved the nod, the Russian came up short by split decision.

The bout was a massive one for the lightweight, as it was his debut in ONE Championship. He exited the UFC the prior year with a three-fight winning streak, last knocking out Zak Ottow in July 2018.

Newly minted UFC Flyweight Champion Brandon Moreno has responded to fans trying to pelt him with garbage following his third-round TKO victory over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 283. Moreno and Figueiredo shared the Octagon for the fourth time at UFC 283 this past Saturday night. Moreno landed a hook that badly swelled Figueiredo’s eye. The Octagon-side doctor took a look at the eye and determined that Figueiredo should not continue, and the fight was stopped before the fourth round could begin.
