Floyd Mayweather will be returning to the ring in June. Mayweather’s promotion released a press release on Wednesday announcing that ‘Money’ will face MMA fighter John Gotti III in an exhibition bout on June 11 at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida. A formal announcement will be announced Thursday, according to the press release.

Colby Covington has confirmed that the UFC is working on his proposed title fight with Leon Edwards for this summer. ‘Chaos’ has been out of action since he beat long-term rival Jorge Masvidal via unanimous decision at UFC 272. The 35 year old was subsequently involved in an alleged assault at the hands of Gamebred.

On Friday night in New Orleans, Diaz was watching his teammate Chris Avila compete on the KSI boxing card. During the event, he threw a water bottle at someone, but that was just the beginning of it. After the event ended, Diaz got into an altercation in the street as the former UFC fighter choked Rodney Anderson out cold.

Kelvin Gastelum will be returning to his old stomping grounds. Gastelum did an interview with ESPN Deportes and revealed he has told the UFC he is planning on dropping back down to welterweight. The plan is to have his return fight in September, and the UFC was on board with the plan. Along with that, Gastelum will be working with Dana White’s nutritionist, he revealed.

McGregor has produced documentaries before, in 2015 he released ‘Notorious’, a short film. In 2017, the movie came out ‘Conor McGregor: Notorious’, a full 90 minute depiction covering his career up to his victory over Eddie Alvarez (30-8 MMA), which earned him his lightweight title.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 71, a battle of top-five heavyweights went down as Sergei Pavlovich took on Curtis Blaydes. Pavlovich was riding a five-fight win streak and was coming off a 54-second TKO win over Tai Tuivasa. Prior to that, he picked up a 55-second TKO win over Derrick Lewis and also knocked out Shamil Abdurakhimov in the first round. Blaydes, meanwhile, was on a three-fight win streak as he had previously beat Tom Aspinall after the Brit tore his knee just seconds into the fight.
