UFC Vegas 72 undergoes late shakeup with four lineup changes

UFC Vegas 72 has undergone a late shakeup with four lineup changes.

It will be this coming Saturday, April 29th that UFC Vegas 72 will take place at the UPC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main card will stream on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN2 and ESPN+.

The changes to the UFC Vegas 72 lineup are as follows:

The main card bout between Emily Ducote (12-7 MMA) and Polyana Viana (13-5 MMA) has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 20th at UFC Fight Night 224.

Ange Loosa (9-3 MMA) has withdrawn from the welterweight bout with Josh Quinlan (6-0 MMA) for reasons yet to be disclosed and is being replaced by Trey Waters (7-1 MMA).

‘The Truth’ is coming off a TKO victory over Jalin Fuller (7-3 MMA) earlier this month at LFA 156. ‘The Renegade’ will be entering the Octagon with a TKO win over Jason Witt (19-9 MMA) in August of last year.

The lightweight fight between Natan Levy (8-1 MMA) and Pete Rodriguez (5-1 MMA) has been cancelled due to an issue on Rodriguez’s end.

‘Lethal’ is sporting 2 wins in a row, but will now, following this Saturday’s cancellation have to wait for his next opponent and fight. ‘Dead Game’ was sporting a KO win against Mike Jackson (1-2 MMA) in October of last year.

The fourth change will see Brian Kelleher (24-14 MMA) out of his fight against Journey Newson (10-4 MMA) with Marcus McGhee (6-1 MMA) stepping in on short notice. The fight will be at 140lbs catchweight.
