Donald Trump can add Darren Till’s visa to his “to-do list”, as the middleweight is pleading with the US President to sort his travel documents before UFC 248. The British fighter is expected to fly stateside to meet Jared Cannonier in the Octagon at UFC 248. The event takes place on Saturday 8th March at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which gives a short window to get his US visa approved

UFC middleweight contender Darren Till says he has accepted the fight against Jared Cannonier for the upcoming UFC 248 card in March. Till was set to fight Cannonier after Robert Whittaker withdrew the fight but UFC president Dana White said Till injured his ankle and had to be removed from the card. That left Cannonier without an opponent, and White confirmed on the weekend that he would still have Cannonier making weight for the card just in case anything happens to the headliners, UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and Yoel Romero.

Till this week was revealed as the replacement opponent for Robert Whittaker, who pulled out of UFC 248 due to personal issues. However, the UFC is once again looking for a new opponent for Cannonier because Till is also injured. According to White, Till injured his ankle and is out of UFC 248.
