White recently told The Boston Globe that McGregor has lost the distinction of being called “the man” to UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. “The Eagle” submitted McGregor back in Oct. 2018.

He testified regarding his negotiating and contract practices during his time at Zuffa LLC (the company that formerly owned the UFC). During the certification hearing, Silva gave the court a rare insight into the revenue splits, salaries and locker room bonuses during the Zuffa-era.

UFC president Dana White has praised Cain Velasquez’s decision to retire from mixed martial arts and join WWE. Former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Velasquez last fought back in February at UFC on ESPN 1 when he was defeated by Francis Ngannou via KO. Ever since then he’s been making a slow yet steady transition into the world of professional wrestling, which led to him announcing his official retirement from MMA recently.

Dana White doesn’t believe that Michael Bisping could pull the wool over the eyes of doctors after it was revealed that he has a prosthetic eye. Much to the shock of the internet, Michael Bisping took out his prosthetic eye in a clip that has since gone viral. On his MMA podcast, Believe You Me, the former middleweight champion peeled out his prosthetic eye and said, “That’s why I used to wear f*****g sunglasses baby boy!”

UFC president Dana White says he wants to bring a UFC event to Hawaii and if he does so he wants UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway to fight on the card. White was in Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend for Trinity Sport Combat’s “Trinity Kings 8” event. In the main event of the card, former Contender Series fighter Alex Munoz defeated Troy Lamson. Munoz is a lightweight prospect from Team Alpha Male who most notably defeated Nick Newell on the Contender Series.

The rising UFC prospect, Adesanya entered the Octagon on an undefeated 17-0 record. His official UFC debut was only a year and a half ago, but ‘The Last Stylebender’ had already fought 6 bouts. His MMA accomplishments include 13 TKO finishes, a $150,000 UFC fight-night bonus award and the 2019’s MMA award for breakthrough fighter of the year. The kickboxer’s short but rapid growth in the UFC was a result of his winning tally against stars such as Brad Tavares, Derek Brunson, Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum. His flamboyant yet streamlined striking style has captured the attention of fans. Along with his magnetic aura, Adesanya has been compared to the likes of Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. However, his UFC 243 title bout against Robert Whittaker presented a new level of competition.

After defeating Dustin Poirier at UFC 242, Khabib Nurmagomedov has once again been calling for a matchup with a fighter widely regarded as the Greatest of All Time: Georges St-Pierre. Both fighters have acknowledged an interest in this potential match up. St-Pierre confirmed he was willing to come out of retirement to face Nurmagomedov under the right circumstances, and ‘The Eagle’ agreed he would fight St-Pierre — perhaps even in his home country of Canada. But due to a lack of developments, it seemed that the matchup was going to be nothing more than a fantasy for MMA fans. However UFC President Dana White may be making the dream a reality. During a live stream on Instagram, Dana White discussed the potential bout. He says he’s open to it, but Tony Ferguson will get a crack at Nurmagomedov first.
