Lineal heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has teased the idea of working with Conor McGregor ahead of a potential switch over to mixed martial arts. Fury, who has defeated Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin in 2019 to take his record to 29-0-1, is considered to be one of the busiest men in combat sports right now. The Englishman has been filming a reality TV show, is set to face Deontay Wilder in a 2020 rematch, and will be making his WWE debut at Crown Jewel later this week when he faces Braun Strowman in Saudi Arabia.

Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya is being sued for an alleged sexual assault & battery incident. TMZ Sports is reporting that a woman is filing the lawsuit under the alias of “Jane Doe” in order to protect her identity, with the timeline dating back to 2016 when she first met the former boxing champion. The incident in question, however, occurred in November 2017 when she was invited to De La Hoya’s then-new home in Pasadena, California.

UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley called out Canelo Alvarez on social media, telling the boxing superstar that he will knock him out if they fight in a boxing match. Woodley recently spoke to TMZ and expressed his interest in boxing Alvarez, widely considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. On Friday, the former UFC welterweight champion took it a step further and hit up Alvarez on Twitter, telling him directly that he wants to fight him.

British boxer Tyson Fury is set to make some serious cash in his pro wrestling match in Saudi Arabia on October 31. The former heavyweight champion last fought Otto Wallin in September. He took home the victory but received a nasty gash above his eye which he is still healing from. He was set to return to the boxing ring in a rematch against Deontay Wilder, however, the exciting prospect of a WWE show could put his boxing return on hold.

Their feud dates back all the way to the build-up for Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr., which is still known for being the most lucrative fight in combat sports history.

Matchroom Boxing managing director Eddie Hearn has confirmed that the scheduled Tyrone Spong vs. Oleksandr Usyk showdown is in jeopardy following an adverse finding in one of Spong’s recent drug tests. Spong (14-0) and Usyk (16-0) were set to go head to head at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois this weekend in what would’ve marked Oleksandr’s official move up to the heavyweight division. The transition has been highly anticipated for a few years now, with Usyk’s swan song as a cruiserweight coming last November when he knocked out Tony Bellew in Manchester.
