Ricchi defeated Cutter by third-round TKO at BKFC 14, but absorbed a damaging punch to the trachea during the fight. After his victory, he was taken to the hospital for an exam, where a surgery reportedly caused complications that led to him being put in a medically induced coma.

The Miami native made it 2-0 in BKFC 14 on Saturday when he scored an incredible KO that set the record for the fastest knockout in the history of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Leduc and Washington are far and away the most successful foreigners to compete in Lethwei, an ancient and brutal combat sport from Myanmar that allows strikes with the fists, elbows, legs, knees and head, and provides competitors with only a thin layer of gauze to protect their hands. The pair first met in 2017, in Yangon, Myanmar. As the only two foreigners with wins over Lethwei legend Tun Tun Min, their fight generated massive buzz all across the country and internationally.

The historic main event will feature the crowning of the inaugural female lethwei world champion as Souris Manfredi (2-0 lethwei) of France take on former WBO Muay Thai title challenger Maisha Katz (0-0 lethwei) from Spain for the Women’s Bantamweight World Lethwei Championship. In the co-main event, Myanmar fan favourite So Mi Ong Luktupfah returns to action against Artur Te of Uzbekistan in a Bantamweight contest.
