Mike Perry has spoken out after a successful bare-knuckle boxing debut against Julian Lane. The buildup between Perry and Lane had a lot of pre-fight antics. Perry even pulled out what appeared to be a plastic bat at the press conference. The bout was as advertised with both men throwing caution to the wind and looking worse for the wear because of it.

Mendes (18-5 MMA) has not competed in combat sports since suffering a TKO loss to Alex Volkanovski at UFC 232 in December of 2018. During his fourteen-fight UFC career, Chad Mendes accumulated a record of 9-5 which included stoppage wins over Myles Jury, Ricardo Lamas, Clay Guida, Darren Elkins and Cody McKenzie.

The scuffle wasn’t the first time that the two sides clashed in public. In December, Perry was shown on the broadcast as a guest commentator after his singing to the promotion. Lane threw a water bottle at the former UFC talent and insulted him. Almost immediately, Perry jumped into the crowd and began brawling with Lane.

Jordan Nash had his BKFC fight stopped due to a gruesome eye injury. Nash, who is 2-0 in bare-knuckle, was fighting Noah Cutter on the BKFC Tampa card on Thursday night. It was his second fight in BKFC as his first bare-knuckle fight took place on the Toe the Line promotion. Following that showing he was quickly elevated to BKFC. However, his fight against Cutter did not go his way as he suffered an eye injury that stopped the fight and is hard to look at it.
