Former UFC champion Israel Adesanya has said that he feels amplified following his recent visit home to Nigeria. Earlier this month, Israel Adesanya fell short in his attempt to defeat Dricus du Plessis. He was hoping to become a three-time UFC middleweight champion but instead, he fell short at the hands of the South African champion. It was a fun, competitive affair, with du Plessis eventually securing a submission triumph in the fourth round of the contest.

Over the weekend, Wang Cong put on quite the display as she knocked out Victoria Leonardo in just over a minute. While many expected her to do well, this was the kind of outing that really put her on the map in the eyes of many.

The Octagon returned to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 96 event, a 12-bout fight card headlined by Jared Cannonier vs. Caio Borralho. The highly anticipated middleweight main event proved to be a coming out party for Caio Borralho. ‘The Natural’ was able to hurt Jared Cannonier on a number of occasions during their twenty-five-minute contest, even dropping ‘Tha Killa Gorilla’ in the fifth and final round (see that here). Despite the late onslaught, Jared Cannonier showed his toughness and durability as he was able to survive to hear the final horn.
