UFC President, Dana White, has made it clear that talking s**t on Instagram does not get you fights. Henry Cejudo, 35, (16-2 MMA) announced his retirement after successfully defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) back in 2020 at UFC 249. ‘Triple C‘, the former UFC double champion, has always claimed he would return to the Octagon for the right price.

Belal Muhammad is eyeing a big fight after defeating Vicente Luque. Muhammad competed against Luque this past Saturday night (April 16). The bout headlined UFC Vegas 51. The fight went the distance and in the end, it was Muhammad who had his hand raised via unanimous decision.

UFC President Dana White believes that it’s time to book Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic. The UFC Heavyweight Title picture is up in the air. Francis Ngannou is the current champion but there are some question marks about his future. He underwent successful knee surgery, so he will be out of action for a while. On top of that, he is in the midst of a contract dispute with the UFC.

It looks like the UFC will be returning to the UK this summer. Whenever the UFC touches down in England, it is absolute scenes. Local fighters are often welcomed to standing ovations and it looks like the UFC wants back in sooner than later.

The Octagon returned to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 51 event, a fourteen-bout fight card headlined by Vicente Luque vs. Belal Muhammad 2. The highly anticipated welterweight main event resulted in a twenty-five minute battle. Belal Muhammad showcased some improved striking and strong grappling to frustrate Vicente Luque throughout the course of the fight. While ‘The Silent Assassin’ appeared to be doing better in the late stages of the contest, timely takedowns by Muhammad kept his comeback at bay.

Brandon Jenkins didn’t expect to get the call to fight Drakkar Klose. Jenkins made his UFC debut on just two days’ notice against Zhu Rong back in September and suffered a third-round TKO loss. After the setback, he wasn’t sure what would be next for him but when he got the call to fight Klose it did surprise him as he considers Drakkar a top-20 opponent.

Drakkar Klose is excited to finally make the walk to the Octagon again. Klose is set to return to the Octagon at UFC Vegas 51 for the first time since UFC 248 in March 2020. Since then, he’s had several opponents pull out and later suffered a severe injury from a push he received from Jeremy Stephens. However, he has put that all behind him and will face Brandon Jenkins on Saturday, an opponent he believes he’s sparred with in the past.

Jake Paul and Dana White have not seen eye-to-eye but the brash YouTuber-turned-boxer believes he will fight in the UFC at least once. Paul is currently an undefeated boxer but has recently hinted at making the transition to MMA. He released training videos of him practicing kicks and has also pointed at his wrestling background from high school. Although many expect him to take an MMA fight in another organization due to the fact White doesn’t like him, Paul says it’s undeniable he will fight in the UFC.
