TJ Dillashaw isn’t interested in fighting Jose Aldo. After Aldo defeated Rob Font in the main event fight back in December, he called out Dillashaw for a number one contender bout. On paper, it made sense as Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan are not having their title unification bout until April. However, for Dillashaw, he says he won’t be ready until the summer due to the knee injury he sustained in his win over Cory Sandhagen.

Don Frye, 56, former mixed martial artist, professional wrestler and actor, while in the stands at UFC 270, decided there wasn’t enough action in the cage and created some of his own. Apparently there was a heated argument in the stands and Frye punched an angry fan directly in the face. The incident was recorded on another audience members cell phone.

Benson Henderson knows people are counting him out but he’s eager for the challenge of facing Islam Mamedov at Bellator 273. Henderson is set to fight Mamedov in the co-main event, and even though the former UFC champion is on a three-fight losing skid, he’s fighting the presumed number one contender. Although many were surprised by the fight booking, Henderson says he asked for the fight as he wants to get back in the title picture.

Former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw has shared his prediction for the upcoming Petr Yan vs Aljamain Sterling rematch. Yan (16-2 MMA) and Sterling (21-3 MMA) are set to collide for a second time in the co-headliner of UFC 273 on April 9th. The bitter rivals originally met at UFC 259, where ‘FunkMaster’ took home the 135lb title after ‘No Mercy’ was disqualified for landing an illegal knee.

Mark Hunt is standing by Francis Ngannou as the heavyweight champion is in a contract dispute with the UFC. At UFC 270, Ngannou defeated Ciryl Gane by decision to defend his belt but the big storyline was the fight being the last on his current deal. In the lead-up to the scrap, Ngannou and the UFC were not seeing eye-to-eye and following the contest Dana White didn’t even wrap the belt around “The Predator’s” waist.

Over Christmas, Jones and Hooker had a back-and-forth after the “Hangman” took a dig at the former UFC champion for his comments pertaining to Chael Sonnen’s battery citations. Jones then fired back at Hooker and the pair continued to trade barbs. Now, a month later, Hooker opened up on why he dislikes Jones.

After Gaethje defeated Michael Chandler at UFC 268, many thought that cemented himself as the next lightweight title challenger. However, after Charles Oliveira submitted Dustin Poirier at UFC 269, he started taking shots at McGregor. Both men began expressing interest in a fight, but for Gaethje, he doesn’t think it is right for the Irishman to get a title fight.

The event saw two titles on the line as Francis Ngannou was defending his heavyweight fight against Ciryl Gane, while Brandon Moreno was defending his flyweight strap against Deiveson Figueiredo.

Frevola had entered the contest on the last fight of his current deal, and was hoping to snap a two-fight losing streak with a win. Francis Ngannou is fresh off the heels of his UFC 270 win over Ciryl Gane. The UFC heavyweight champion defended his title after scoring a unanimous decision victory over his former training partner with a grappling-heavy gameplan. Ngannou revealed post-fight that he had suffered injuries during his training camp, and had a grade 3 MCL tear and a damaged ACL. Going into further detail on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the Cameroonian then revealed that he was actually advised by a doctor that he had seen pre-fight that he should pull out from his title unification bout at the event.

On his latest podcast on the “Timbo Sugarshow”, Sean O’Malley spoke to the controversy playing out regarding Dana White not presenting Francis Ngannou with the heavyweight belt at UFC 270: “Dana White didn’t even put the belt around him apparently. I went to bed. What do you think about it? I mean, dude, he’s the boss. He’s the man. You’re going to talk sh*t about the whole company, and I get it. I’m just saying. I bet (Francis Ngannou) honestly didn’t even give a f*ck though.”
