Royval is set for his sixth Octagon appearance against Matt Schnell at UFC 274 but it will be the first time he competes in front of a crowd in the UFC. The sixth-ranked flyweight contender believes he has a fan-friendly style and sort of views this as his official UFC debut.

Chimaev scored a victory over Gilbert Burns in the biggest test of his career via unanimous decision. The win didn’t come easy, as the Brazilian knocked down and nearly finished Chimaev during the contest.

It has been confirmed that boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. will make his return to the squared circle for a special eight-round exhibition match against fellow undefeated pugilist ‘Dangerous’ Don Moore. The event will take place on Saturday May 14, 2022 atop the helicopter landing pad at Burj Al Khalifa Hotel in Dubai.

Despite not picking up the win due to a headbutt, Anderson seemed confident that he was the best 205-pound fighter on the planet. The former UFC fighter has openly pondered if Dana White regrets releasing him in 2020.

Paul has made his name in the combat sports world by calling out UFC fighters, and White. To his credit, he has knocked out two former UFC competitors, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
Robbie Lawler set to return at UFC 276 against Bryan Barberena

Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler has his return set for this summer. ‘Ruthless’ will face off against fan-favorite Bryan Barberena. The fight was announced by MMAJunkie as well as Barberena himself. The bout is being added to a card without the main event but has other bouts scheduled for the undercard. Other fights slated for UFC 276 are Miesha Tate vs. Lauren Murphy, and Uriah Hall taking on Andre Muniz.

It appears the UFC is interested in making Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev for UFC 276. The UFC war room has a list of all the upcoming events and fights on those cards, and the room is considered to be top-secret. Yet, when Dana White recently did The Pivot podcast, the interview was held in the war room. During the interview, some of the future fights were displayed on the board and one of the biggest was Nate Diaz vs. Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 276.

Dana White has come under fire for several years now concerning fighter pay in the UFC. High profile fighters have spoken out about fighter pay or lack thereof. Jake Paul, YouTuber and boxer, seems to have turned fighter pay into his personal vendetta, regularly calling out the UFC President.

UFC featherweight Dan Hooker has announced that he’s going to be returning to 155 pounds. ‘The Hangman’ was last seen in action at UFC London against Arnold Allen. Hooker’s first bout at featherweight since 2016 ended in a dramatic fashion. Allen demolished the New Zealander, finishing him via TKO in the first round. Some, including Israel Adesanya, thought the finish might’ve been premature.
