Drew Dober is on an impressive run of form. The American has won his last three on the bounce with all of those victories coming via stoppage. In fact, his last six wins have all been finishes. Dober’s last loss came against Brad Ridell last year as he dropped a unanimous decision – but still walked away with a bonus for Fight of the Night. Prior to that, the Bellator veteran was submitted by the champion, Islam Makhachev.

Dillon Danis has revealed he has to pay Bellator in order to box KSI. Danis, of course, is under contract with Bellator – despite not fighting since 2019 due to knee injuries. He will make his return to fighting on January 14 in the main event of Misfits 004 against KSI, with the event being streamed on DAZN.

Dillon Danis says that Brendan Schaub ‘kind of’ gave him a heads up ahead of the infamous drive by balloon attack on him during his last appearance on Food Truck Diaries in 2020. The Bellator star appeared on the MMA Hour ahead of his boxing fight with KSI in London. Danis covered a range of topics with Ariel Helwani, including the incident in which Jake Paul hurled water balloons and insults at the New Yorker whilst driving by in a truck.

UFC commentator Daniel Cormier isn’t exactly thrilled with who USADA is choosing to test. The anti-doping organization has taken a lot of heat over the last few months. Conor McGregor, who’s been out of action with a broken leg, was seemingly allowed to exit the testing pool to possibly use banned substances. In the past, USADA has stated that one has to retire, or be released, to not be tested.

The play-by-play commentator was a vital figure in the early days of the mixed-martial-arts promotion. In 1997, made his debut on UFC Japan: Ultimate Japan, and was the man behind the mic as Kazushi Sakuraba fought his way through the heavyweight tournament.

New footage of Jorge Masvidal in custody following his alleged attack on Colby Covington has been released. In March, it was reported that Masvidal and Covington got into a scuffle at Miami Beach restaurant Papi Steak and police were called. According to the reports, Masvidal went to the restaurant with a surgical mask on and his hood up and sucker-punched Covington twice. Those punches allegedly broke Covington’s tooth and he had an abrasion on his wrist.

MMA analyst and former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen has rejected a plea deal and will take his battery charge to trial. Back in December 2021, Chael Sonnen was accused of attacking several individuals at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. A couple, Julie and Christopher Stellpflug, said that Sonnen had struck them both and initiated a fight. They suggested he was intoxicated, as he went on to attack a string of other security guards.

The price of a UFC pay-per-view is set to increase in 2023. According to Adam Stern of the Sports Business Journal, the price of a UFC pay-per-view will increase in price from $74.99 this year to $79.99 next year, starting with UFC 283 on January 21 in Brazil.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship president, David Feldman thinks the offer BKFC will give Nate Diaz will be tough to turn down. After Diaz fought out his contract at UFC 279 with a submission victory over Tony Ferguson he became one of the biggest free agents in recent memory. Most of the promotions will be after him, and BKFC is no different as they have already reached out to his camp and plan on making a solid offer.

Bellator and RIZIN held a joint press conference Tuesday to promote the crossover event taking place in Japan New Years Eve. The event will feature five fights with the best fighters from both promotions facing each other, including names like A.J. McKee Jr. and Patricio Pitbull, to name a few. Scott Coker and Nobuyuki Sakakibara were on hand to discuss everything related to the event. In so many words,  it’s more than just any singular event. It’s business-like and something that the two MMA moguls hope to continue to run back each and every year moving forward.

He has shared the Octagon with the likes of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Max Holloway, Eddie Alvarez, Justin Gaethje, Cub Swanson, and Anthony Pettis among countless others.

Sean O’Malley sealed the biggest victory of his career when he sealed a split decision win against Petr Yan at UFC 280. Despite the result being hotly-debated, the outcome sent ‘Sugar’ flying up the rankings as he usurped the Russian and slotted into the #1-contender spot. That should have been enough to guarantee the 28-year-old the next title shot right away. However, it seems the UFC are looking to give former champion Henry Cejudo the first crack at Aljamian Sterling. ‘Triple C’ retired in 2020 but it was announced in May that he’d re-entered the USADA testing pool with a view to competing late this year.

UFC veteran Kay Hansen believes her OnlyFans helps her massively focus on fighting. The 23-year-old has been out of action since her bout with Piera Rodríguez at UFC 273 in April. There, Hansen came up short by decision, bringing her to a three-fight skid. She previously lost to Jasmine Jasudavicius and Cory McKenna, respectively, sending her to 1-3 in the promotion.

UFC middleweight contender Jared Cannonier is ready for a rematch with Robert Whittaker. ‘The Killa Gorilla’ is fresh off his return last Saturday night at UFC Vegas 66. The bout was an important one for the middleweight, as it was his first since losing to Israel Adesanya. In his first title shot in July at UFC 276, Cannonier came up short by unanimous decision.
