Spivac and Lewis were supposed to fight back in November but on the day of the event, the scrap was pulled due to Lewis having an illness, which he later revealed was COVID-19. Spivac was entering the fight coming off back-to-back TKO wins over Augusto Sakai and Greg Hardy. Lewis, meanwhile, was on a two-fight losing skid having been knocked out by Serghei Pavlovich and Tai Tuivasa.

UFC fighter Renato Moicano has called for a fight against Tony Ferguson after Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler was confirmed. Last week, the UFC announced that Conor McGregor will fight Michael Chandler after the two serve as coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. Tony Ferguson, of course, was previously listed as the most likely opponent for Conor, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Lewis shared the Octagon with Sergey Spivak in the main event of UFC Vegas 68. “The Black Beast” was submitted in the opening frame. This is Lewis’ third straight loss. He hasn’t earned a victory since late 2021. He’s also been stopped in all of his three straight defeats.

Taking to social media, UFC President Dana White recently announced that McGregor and Chandler will serve as opposing coaches on season 31 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” The two will collide inside the Octagon on a date that will be announced in the future.

Gane vs. Jones is scheduled to headline UFC 285 on March 4. The event will take place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’ll be Jones’ first bout since February 2020. This bout was made for the UFC’s heavyweight prize after the previous champion, Francis Ngannou, and UFC couldn’t come to terms on a new deal. As a result, the gold has been vacated.

Ultimately, Bader successfully retained the gold via first-round TKO. The Bellator 290 main event was the final fight in Emelianenko’s farewell tour.
