In the UFC Rio co-headliner, Deiveson Figueiredo collided with Montel Jackson inside Farmasi Arena this past Saturday. Figueiredo entered the fight on a two-fight skid and knew he needed a win to remain relevant in the bantamweight division. The bout went the distance and “Figgy” was awarded the split decision victory.

Alex Pereira knew he didn’t walk out of UFC 320 unscathed, and he has gotten an official diagnosis. Pereira handled business in his rematch with Magomed Ankalaev, reclaiming the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship via first-round TKO. While “Poatan” got his revenge, he told reporters that he believed he suffered a broken foot during the bout that barely lasted over one minute.

Charles Oliveira has detailed what he felt was a deciding factor in his UFC Rio victory. Oliveira went one-on-one with Mateusz Gamrot in the main event of UFC Rio this past Saturday. Prior to Gamrot stepping up on short notice, the status of the headliner was a bit dicey, as Oliveira’s initial opponent, Rafael Fiziev, suffered an injury. The short notice factor didn’t bother “Predator,” as he secured a second-round submission finish.

The UFC Hall of Famer noted that her love for the sport was being repaired. This led some to speculate that Rousey might be swayed into a comeback fight on the UFC White House card.

Mike Perry has recently reasserted his King of Violence status in his BKFC return, but a particular UFC card for 2026 would pique his interest in an MMA return. Perry defeated Jeremy Stephens in the headliner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s inaugural foray into New Jersey at BKFC 82. ‘Platinum’ dropped Stephens multiple times in the bout en route to halting him in the fifth round, with Perry maintaining his spotless ledger in bare-knuckle fighting in the process. The biggest star in bare-knuckle boxing does seem intrigued about donning the small gloves again for an opportunity on a massively hyped card for June 2026. Interestingly enough, his recent BKFC opponent, Jeremy Stephens, did a one-off bout with the UFC prior to his BKFC fight with Perry. This gives some precedent to the idea that some sort of deal could possibly be facilitated for Perry’s services between BKFC and UFC.

Khalil Rountree is dismissive of one narrative following his UFC 320 defeat. Rountree entered T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with hopes of moving back into the light heavyweight title race. He appeared to be on his way to achieving that goal with a strong opening round against Jiri Prochazka.
