Dillon Danis believes UFC 246 will not be a good night inside the Octagon for Donald Cerrone. Danis, who is Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach and training partner has said it has been a very good camp for the Irishman. Not only that, but he says McGregor has been in a good spot mentally, so he is scared for Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.

Conor McGregor has added Tony Ferguson to his list. McGregor is set to make his highly-anticipated return to the Octagon in the main event of UFC 246 on Saturday. Should he win, he has made it clear he wants the rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov. But, he also says the likes of Jorge Masvidal and Justin Gaethje are possible options.

UFC women’s strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha has released a statement after her fight against Alexa Grasso was scratched from UFC 246. At the official UFC 246 weigh-ins on Friday, Gadelha made weight as she stepped onto the scales at 115.5lbs. However, Grasso badly missed weight at 121.5lbs. Due to a weight discrepancy over 3lbs for a women’s strawweight fight, the Nevada State Athletic Commission scratched the fight from the card.
Dillon Danis withdraws from Bellator 238

More bad news, fight fans. Dillon Danis has been forced out of his Bellator 238 fight with Kegan Gennrich with an injury. The Orange County Register was first to report this unfortunate turn of events. MMA Fighting subsequently confirmed that report. Danis, a decorated BJJ player and a long-time training partner of former two-division UFC champ Conor McGregor, was looking to improve to 3-0 as a mixed martial artist in this Bellator 238 fight. In his first two pro bouts, Danis picked up first-round submission wins over Kyle Walker and Max Humphrey.
Claudia Gadelha vs. Alexa Grasso fight removed from UFC 246

Bad news, fight fans. A planned bout between strawweight contenders Claudia Gadelha and Alexa Grasso has been removed from the UFC 246 bill. The fight’s removal from the card is due to a weigh-in issue on Grasso’s part. Shortly after Gadelha made weight for the fight, Grasso tipped the scales at 121.5, well over the 116-pound limit for their fight.

According to White now, McGregor will fight the winner of that contest should he defeat Cerrone, a decision that is sure to draw the ire of fans and media who don’t believe McGregor should be in the title picture ahead of Justin Gaethje.

The main card, which will air on pay-per-view, will be topped by a welterweight scrap between former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and record-collecting finisher Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Big pay-per-view cards like UFC 246 are usually opened up by special introductory videos highlighting the stars of the event. Ordinarily, these videos are not available until fight night, but UFC President Dana White is so excited about the video for the UFC 246 main card that he decided to leak it early.
