Brendan Schaub is a little confused by the UFC’s hesitation to sign Jake Paul. ‘The Problem Child’ has spent the last year running down the promotion and various fighters. He’s called out names such as Jorge Masvidal, Nate Diaz, and Conor McGregor. Meanwhile, in the boxing ring, he’s knocked out UFC alumni such as Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

Apparently Conor McGregor has had enough and is tired of Henry Cejudo continuing to criticize his training videos. McGregor (22-6 MMA) has been out of the Octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA) at UFC 264 in July 2021. It was at that fight that ‘The Notorious’ suffered a leg injury, forcing a halt to the bout at the end of the first round. It was the third time Poirier and McGregor had met in the cage, with Poirier ending up 2-1 in the series.

UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski has picked Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre and Israel Adesanya as his three greatest fighters in UFC history. This Saturday night at UFC 273, Alex Volkanovski returns to action as he puts his 145-pound title on the line against Chan Sung Jung – aka The Korean Zombie. If he wins, some have suggested it could move him pretty close to Kamaru Usman in the UFC’s pound-for-pound rankings given what he’s been able to accomplish during his time in the promotion thus far.

Chimaev, at the time of the fight, had yet to make his pro or amateur debut and was instead doing wrestling matches in Sweden. But, after the fight, he began training and finally turned pro in 2018 and has gone 10-0 including four wins in the UFC.

Could it be that Cejudo is adding himself to the list of fighters that are waiting in line for The Irishman to return to the Octagon. ‘Triple C’ (16-2 MMA) last fought in May of 2020 at UFC 249 defeating Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) by second round TKO to defend the bantamweight title. Following that bout, Cejudo announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, but has since indicated his wish to get back in the cage this year.

For working with the police to possibly pressing charges against ‘Gamebred,’ Nurmagomedov says no one at 170lbs should offer to face Covington in the future.

Khamzat Chimaev has spoken out about who should get the next title shot against UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. Chimaev (10-0 MMA) last fought at UFC 267 in October 2021, where he defeated Li Jingliang (18-7 MMA). Khamzat will be back in the cage for UFC 273 on April 9th, matching up with Gilbert Burns (20-4 MMA). ‘Durinho’ will be looking to be the 1st fighter to upset Chimaev, while ‘Borz’ will be looking for another check in the win column.
Conor McGregor reportedly arrested over alleged dangerous driving, has Bentley temporarily seized

Conor McGregor was reportedly arrested on Tuesday evening in Dublin for alleged dangerous driving. Irish outlet Independent reported on Wednesday that McGregor was detained in west Dublin yesterday evening while driving his Bentley Continental GT valued at around €170,000. He was pulled over by gardaí and subsequently arrested for road traffic offenses.
