Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum has decided to take his talents to the Professional Fighters League as he’s signed with PFL. Werdum recently became a free agent after his UFC contract expired following a submission win over Alexander Gustafsson on Fight Island. Despite being 43 years old, Werdum received plenty of interest in free agency and it looked like he was bound to sign with Bellator rematch Fedor Emelianenko. However, Werdum on Monday announced that he has decided to sign with PFL and compete in its 2021 heavyweight tournament. The Brazilian hinted last week that he could sign with PFL, and now it’s official.

The Proud Boys, a loosely organized far right extremist group, took to the streets of DC over the weekend in support of President Donald Trump and his specious claims of widespread voter fraud. Things quickly turned violent, as the group began to clash with counter-protesters, with the Washington Post reporting that multiple arrests were made and one person was stabbed.

RDA is now 36 years old but he looked to be in amazing shape moving down to 155lbs for the first time in four years. And he did so clean. 30 fights into his UFC career and RDA has never tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. He is a former UFC champion and a great ambassador of this sport as one of the cleanest athletes in the game today.

Medeiros has been a member of the UFC roster since 2013, going 6-7, 1 NC over 14 fights in the promotion with wins over the likes of Alex Oliveira, Erick Silva, and John Makdessi. He hasn’t fought since a decision loss to Lando Vannata at a UFC Fight Night event in February of this year, and overall he has lost three straight fights. Despite the losing skid, he remains on the UFC roster and he continues to be tested by USADA.

McGregor is set to take on Dustin Poirier at UFC 257, but there are some issues right now in making that fight official. According to UFC president Dana White, Poirier has signed the deal on the dotted line. But the UFC is still waiting on McGregor to sign his bout agreement, although White said that he’s confident he will do so. Still, the fact that this fight hasn’t been signed on the dotted line is making some people wonder what’s up.

UFC lightweight Rafael dos Anjos released a statement following his “roller coaster” split decision win over Paul Felder at UFC Vegas 14. RDA was originally set to fight Islam Makhachev at UFC 254 on Fight Island but he was forced off the card due to COVID-19. The UFC then re-booked the fight for two weeks later at UFC Vegas 14. Unfortunately, the fight fell apart when Makhachev pulled out due to an infection. Fortunately, the UFC called upon Paul Felder to save the day. The No. 7 ranked lightweight/UFC color commentator stepped up to the plate on just five days’ notice, stepping in there with dos Anjos after having had no real training camp for it.

In an action-packed fight to kick off the main card at UFC Vegas 14, Hansen and McKenna fought valiantly for the full 15 minutes in what was a closely-contested but seemingly clear win for Hansen. Most watching believed that Hansen had done enough to win the fight. The judges disagreed.

McGregor said before the year that he wanted to have a full season in 2020. That would begin with a fight against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January — which McGregor won in 40 seconds by TKO — and then move on to a lightweight title bout. A welterweight fight against a star in that division was also mentioned. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, McGregor fought just once this year despite being healthy himself.

When the judges scored Rafael dos Anjos vs. Paul Felder at UFC Vegas 14 as a split decision, it was a shocker for almost everyone watching. The main event of UFC Vegas 14 was a competitive, yet clear decision for dos Anjos. BJPenn.com scored the fight 49-46 in favor of dos Anjos, giving him the first three rounds and the fifth round and giving Felder the fourth round. Most of the media at MMADecisions.com scored the fighter either 50-45 or 49-46 for dos Anjos.
