UFC Edmonton now has its main event in the form of Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi. Earlier this year, the promotion announced that they were heading to Edmonton for the first time since UFC 240 in July 2019. Since then, many fights have been added to the November card. One of those bouts is a key women’s flyweight clash between former champion Rose Namajunas, and the rising contender Erin Blanchfield.

Pereira will defend the UFC light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City. He returns to the Octagon after successful defenses against Jamahal Hill and Jiří Procházka in 2024.

One of UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad’s post-UFC 304 interviews didn’t go according to plan in his native Chicago. Muhammad earned the UFC welterweight title by defeating Leon Edwards by unanimous decision in Manchester. The title win came after a long road to the belt which included wins over Gilbert Burns, Stephen Thompson, and Vicente Luque.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has changed his tune on UFC commentator Joe Rogan following the broadcaster’s public support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Rogan, a longtime UFC analyst, recently had some positive things to say about Kennedy before the independent presidential candidate withdrew from the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election. Kennedy has since endorsed Trump before the Republican candidate’s battle against U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

Sterling and Evloev had gone back and forth on social media over who truly didn’t want their fight to take place, but now it’s set for UFC 307 on October 5th. On the road to the pivotal featherweight encounter, Sterling has revved things up by expressing his belief that Evloev is taking banned substances.

Recently, Pereira expressed his belief that “Izzy” may have been injured in that title fight. Adesanya responded by admitting that “Poatan” knows his tendencies inside the Octagon all too well.

The Brazilian ended up losing by decision, and after the fight, Muhammad held out for over a year to get the title shot against Leon Edwards at UFC 304.
