Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley said he is interested in a boxing match with superstar boxer Canelo Alvarez. According to Woodley, he believes he can knock Alvarez out. Speaking to TMZ, Woodley spoke about his desire to take a boxing match against Alvarez, one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world. Here’s what Woodley said.

Michael Bisping advises Tyron Woodley to just accept his loss to Kamaru Usman and get back on the horse. Back in March, Woodley was shutout by Usman in their UFC welterweight title bout. Usman turned in a brilliant performance and nabbed every round to take the title away from “The Chosen One.” Since that bout, Woodley has called for a rematch but the next title opportunity will go to Colby Covington at UFC 245 on Dec. 14.

Tyron Woodley was dominated in that fight and admitted he did not look like himself. But, given the fight was not that competitive, him getting a rematch may be out of the question.

Although making 155 pounds is out of the question for Woodley, he is open to fighting Nurmagomedov at a catchweight. He just wants the fight, and to show off his takedown defense. It is also a fight he thinks he can win.

Speaking at fan Q&A ahead of last weekend’s UFC Vancouver card, Woodley divulged that he first plans on fighting his welterweight nemesis Colby Covington, as well as the man who ended his reign as welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman — twice. From there, he plans to head north to the 185-pound middleweight division.

Dillon Danis didn’t hold back on social media yesterday. The New Jersey native trashed Tyron Woodley and his budding singing career in a Twitter post. He added the caption, “You know you hit rock bottom when you go to a Tyron Woodley concert.” Danis shared footage of Woodley performing in (what appears to be) a club. He is rapping to fans who are filming the event. Everyone in attendance was impressed, but Dillon Danis certainly was not.

Back in April, Tyron Woodley surrendered the UFC welterweight title to Kamaru Usman. Ever since, he’s been campaigning for a do-over with the new champion. Woodley once again called for that rematch with Usman over the weekend, shortly after news surfaced that negotiations for a bout between Usman and Colby Covington had fizzled. He did so in the replies to an Instagram post from ESPN reporter Ariel Helwani.

When he was the UFC welterweight champion, Woodley was aiming for the likes of Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre, Michael Bisping, and the Diaz brothers. Fast forward to 2019 and Woodley finds himself training with the now-retired St-Pierre. If “The Chosen One” has his way, then some sparring sessions with the Diaz brothers could be next.

The former welterweight champion released this hip hop song on Youtube yesterday. “The Chosen One” has recently been exploring his music career. Earlier this year, he featured on a track by the Glacier Boyz and dropped bars with Wiz Khalifa. He even released a parody of the popular hit ‘Old Town Road’, where he took aim at Conor McGregor and Colby Covington.

Despite his best efforts, Woodley was never able to coax St-Pierre into the cage. Yet from the sounds of it, the two will now be getting very well acquainted with one another on the mats at the famed Tristar gym in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

According to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley however, Jones does not behave any worse than Conor McGregor, who Woodley believes is treated with much more understanding when he errs. In fact, Woodley believes McGregor is even glorified for his troubles outside the cage.

Tyron Woodley has been criticized by fans and fighters over taking pictures with Jorge Masvidal and “The Chosen One” has responded. Images surfaced of Woodley and Masvidal seemingly hanging out. Colby Covington and Dillon Danis ripped Woodley as he’s a close friend of Ben Askren, who was knocked out by Masvidal in five seconds. Woodley returned fire and said he and Masvidal were on the set for a cbdMD commercial. The former UFC welterweight champion also said he reached out to Askren on the matter.

With the chaos that is the UFC’s welterweight division, former champion Tyron Woodley seems to have a solution. “The Chosen One” had his over two year title reign come to an end at UFC 235 when he lost a unanimous decision to Kamaru Usman. We haven’t heard much from Woodley following his first defeat since 2014. Woodley was scheduled to face Robbie Lawler in the main event of UFC Minneapolis last month, but the 37-year-old was forced to withdraw from the bout with a hand injury.
