Paul Felder reveals the two scenarios that would bring him out of retirement

Paul Felder has two scenarios in which he ends his retirement and fights again. Felder announced his retirement earlier this year, but it is something he has been hitting about for quite some time. He talked about it after his loss to Dan Hooker, and again after his loss to Rafael dos Anjos. Yet, recently there have been talks about Felder returning, but he says there are only two scenarios in which that happens. One is the Conor McGregor fight while the other is a hometown fight in Philadelphia.
Edson Barboza vs. Bryce Mitchell set for featherweight scrap in March

A fantastic featherweight fight has been added to an upcoming card in March as Edson Barboza will take on Bryce Mitchell. According to MMAJunkie, Barboza and Mitchell have verbally agreed to fight one another on March 5. The event does not have a location or main event, and it’s uncertain if it will be a Fight Night card at this time. No other fights have also been announced or reported for the card.

UFC bantamweight contender Rob Font explained the “extra motivation” he has to beat the legend Jose Aldo at UFC Vegas 44. Font is coming off of an impressive five-round decision win over Cody Garbrandt at a UFC Fight Night card earlier this year. He is likely one more win away from getting a title shot, so when he meets Aldo at UFC Vegas 44, there is a lot on the line. Speaking to John Hyon Ko of The AllStar, Font explained the “extra motivation” he has to defeat the legend.
Vince Morales expecting a 'dog fight' against Louis Smolka, believes he can pull off a submission win

Vince Morales was surprised when he got the fight offer to face Louis Smolka at UFC Vegas 44 on December 4. Morales is Ricky Simon’s cousin, who is a training partner of Smolka. Although that has put Simon in a weird position, Morales does expect the fight to be a good one.

UFC welterweight Colby Covington commented on the state of Conor McGregor’s career, saying that “it’s sad to see, man. It’s a big downfall.” Covington is coming off of a close loss to UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in their rematch at UFC 268 earlier this month. McGregor, meanwhile, hasn’t competed since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight back at UFC 264 in August. He is hoping to step back into the Octagon in 2022, but despite being out on the sidelines with a broken leg, McGregor has continued to open his loud mouth from his seat on social media.

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman commented on a potential Georges St-Pierre fight, suggesting that “I know he doesn’t want it.” Usman is currently the best welterweight in the sport. He is the UFC champion with a perfect 15-0 record in the world’s leading MMA promotion, and he is the No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the sport. At this point, most people consider Usman to be the second-greatest welterweight fighter in UFC history, right behind GSP. Of course, these two could potentially fight and settle the debate for good on who the better man truly is. But if you ask Usman, he doesn’t believe that GSP actually wants to step into the cage with him.
John Kavanagh says Conor McGregor has "got a hundred opponents lined up" for UFC return

MMA coach John Kavanagh joked that his pupil Conor McGregor has “got a hundred opponents lined up” for his upcoming UFC return in 2022. McGregor is coming off of back-to-back TKO losses to Dustin Poirier earlier this year, the second of which saw the Irishman suffer a nasty broken leg in his defeat. The hope is that McGregor will continue to make progress in his recovery from the broken leg and then return to fighting in 2022. When he does eventually step back into the Octagon, then his coach at SBG Ireland, Kavanagh, believes there will be no shortage of potential opponents.
Sean O'Malley reaffirms interest in fighting Adrian Yanez: "That's a sick fight"

UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley reaffirmed his interest in fighting rising star Adrian Yanez, saying “that’s a sick fight.” O’Malley called out Yanez after his “Fight of the Night” victory over Davey Grant at UFC Vegas 43. Yanez, however, suggested that O’Malley wasn’t being serious about the callout. “Suga,” though, confirmed that he is in fact interested in this fight, and he is hoping the UFC sets this fight up for next March should O’Malley beat Raulian Paiva at UFC 269.

When walking out to find his seat to enjoy the card, Ngannou would walk past Gane and his team who were there cornering Nassourdine Imavov. Clearly ignoring the interim champion and his former head coach, Ngannou shared his side of the viral clip.
Dan Hooker eyes fight with Korean Zombie if he does return to featherweight

Dan Hooker already has his eyes on a possible opponent if he does indeed drop back down to featherweight. Hooker recently revealed he was thinking of dropping down to 145lbs and did a test cut where he made the weight with ease. Now, after the test cut was successful, he says it’s a very real possibility his next fight is at featherweight as he says it’s time to start doing what the rest of the fighters are doing and that is cutting weight.

Ex-UFC fighter, Anthony Rocco Martin was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada. A police report obtained by MMA Junkie among other outlets shows Martin was arrested on Nov. 20 for allegedly urinating on a casino floor and punching a security guard at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The arrest was first reported by 8 News Now Las Vegas.
Former UFC fighter Luis Pena arrested for third time since June, faces battery charges

Luis Pena has been arrested again, marking the third time he has been arrested since June. According to Broward County, Fla. online arrest records, which was brought to light by TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter, the former UFC lightweight in Pena is facing four misdemeanor charges: battery, criminal mischief, battery causing bodily harm, and touching or striking battery or domestic violence. The 28-year-old is currently being held at Paul Rein Detention Center in Pompano Beach, Fla. No bond has been set.

UFC legend Donald Cerrone got attacked by a swarm of bees at the BMF Ranch and he lived to tell the tale as he shared in a new vlog. Cerrone — a bonus machine who is one of the most exciting fighters in UFC history — posted a new video to his YouTube channel where he showed himself collecting honey from the two beehives he owns on the BMF Ranch. Louis Smolka was disappointed he couldn’t fight Sean O’Malley at UFC 264 but is glad he is fighting before the year is up. Smolka was supposed to fight O’Malley in July, but an infection forced him out of the fight. For the Hawaiian, when he had to pull out of the bout, he was upset and frustrated as he knew it would be a big fight for him.

Former UFC middleweight contender Alan Belcher recently won his professional boxing debut at heavyweight for the Summit FC promotion. At age 37, Belcher made his professional boxing debut on November 6 at Summit FC 39 when he tough on Ryan Shough. Belcher ended up winning the fight in the second round by knockout, which was impressive. But even more impressive than actually winning the fight is Belcher’s incredible physique. Years after leaving the UFC due to a then-career-ending eye injury, Belcher looks to be in the absolute best shape of his life. Aljamain Sterling trolls Petr Yan with latest injury news: “Doc says back in 2023”

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling trolled his rival Petr Yan with his latest injury news, joking that “doc says back in 2023.” Sterling defeated Yan at UFC 259 earlier this year via fourth-round DQ after the Russian was disqualified for throwing an illegal knee to the head of a grounded opponent. It was the first time in UFC history that a belt changed hands following a disqualification, with Sterling being crowned the new UFC bantamweight champion after Yan lost his belt. The two were then supposed to fight at UFC 267 in October in a rematch, but Sterling was forced to pull out of the fight due to an injury. Instead of Yan vs. Sterling, the UFC called upon top contender Cory Sandhagen to step up on short notice. Yan ended up beating Sandhagen via unanimous decision in what was the “Fight of the Night” at UFC 267.

MMA coach John Kavanagh says that he wants to see top welterweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev fight against his pupil Gunnar Nelson next. Kavanagh, who is of course the longtime head coach of UFC superstar Conor McGregor, took to his social media on Tuesday to make a matchmaking suggestion to the UFC. As far as the coach goes, he believes that a fight between Chimaev and Nelson would make a lot of sense. With the UFC rumored to be holding an event in London in March, Kavanagh believes this would be the ideal situation to hold this potential fight between Chimaev and Nelson. Longtime UFC welterweight veteran Matt Brown has been forced to pull out of his upcoming UFC Vegas 44 bout with Bryan Barberena. Brown revealed on his social media on Tuesday that he tested positive for COVID-19 and his fight against Barberena, which was set to take place at UFC Vegas 44, has been scratched. The event is set to take place on December 4 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event features bantamweight contenders Rob Font and Jose Aldo.
