Le’Veon Bell believes his power will be too much for Uriah Hall. On Thursday, it was revealed that Bell is set to make his pro boxing debut against the longtime UFC middleweight contender in Hall. It’s an intriguing matchup given Hall had recently announced his retirement while Bell is coming off a KO win over Adrian Peterson in an exhibition fight.

Chael Sonnen thinks Kevin Holland could be fighting for his job at UFC Orlando. Yet, it was all for not as he was booked to headline UFC Orlando on December 3 against Stephen Thompson in a pivotal fight for the welterweight division.

Mike Davis has had a hard time getting fights and is hoping to fight out the final three bouts of his deal soon. Davis returned to the Octagon at UFC Vegas 61 against Viacheslav Borshchev after his original opponent, Uros Medic was forced to pull out. When Davis made the walk to the Octagon it was the first time he fought since January 2021 and he admits the rust was there.

Michael Chandler is surprised that Charles Oliveira is the betting underdog against Islam Makhachev. Oliveira and Makhachev are set to headline UFC 280 for the vacant lightweight title in one of the most anticipated lightweight title fights in quite some time. The Brazilian is coming off a submission win over Justin Gaethje but missed weight and was stripped of his belt. Prior to that, he submitted Dustin Poirier and knocked out Michael Chandler to establish himself as 155’s new kingpin. Makhachev, meanwhile, hasn’t fought a top-10 opponent yet which is why Chandler is surprised that the Russian is listed as the betting favorite.

Nurmagomedov retired with a record of 29-0 and many consider him one of the greatest, but a knock on him was he retired too early and there were still many fights for him to take.
