Mike Perry wants to run it back with his former foe Donald Cerrone, but this time between the ropes of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. The call out from Perry follows the steroid use confession from Cerrone, who retired from mixed martial arts competition on July. 2.

Alexander Volkanovski doesn’t think Max Holloway has lost a step or gone downhill. Holloway was the UFC’s featherweight champ from June 2017 to December 2019 before losing the belt to Alexander Volkanovski by decision. The pair would have an immediate rematch, but once again  ‘Blessed’ wound up on the wrong end of the judges’ scorecards. After defeating Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez, Holloway got another crack at the Aussie but once again came up short in the trilogy.

Sean O’Malley is suggesting who would be the biggest fight ‘as far as pay-per-view sales’ for Conor McGregor in 2023. McGregor, 34, has not fought since he suffered a leg injury back in July of 2021 at UFC 264. It was Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) vs  Dustin Poirier (29-7 MMA) in a bout which saw ‘The Diamond’ win via TKO.

Fighters are reacting after a video emerged of Dana White slapping his wife at a New Years Eve party. It was this past New Years Eve, when an argument occurred between Dana White and his wife Anne at a nightclub in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Anne proceeded to hit Dana and he struck her back. A video of the altercation was released by TMZ yesterday, January 2nd.

MMA analyst Chael Sonnen has explained why Alex Volkanovski beating Islam Makhachev shouldn’t be seen as a big upset. At UFC 284, Alex Volkanovski will challenge Islam Makhachev for the UFC lightweight title. If he manages to pull off the win, he’ll become a two-weight UFC champion after already capturing the featherweight crown.

Alex Volkanovski has admitted that he felt bad for The Korean Zombie during his main event domination at UFC 273. It’s safe to say that at this point in time, Alex Volkanovski is the pound-for-pound best fighter in MMA. He’ll put that title on the line at UFC 284 but for the time being, that’s the popular opinion.

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling has admitted that he’s intrigued by Conor McGregor’s new physique. While we’d all rather be discussing what Conor McGregor does inside the Octagon, that’s been pretty hard to do recently. The Irishman hasn’t been seen since his leg break against Dustin Poirier in summer 2021.

Sean O’Malley has said he has a weird feeling about the upcoming match-up between Alex Volkanovski and Islam Makhachev. At UFC 284 next month, Alex Volkanovski will lock horns with Islam Makhachev. In the eyes of many, this gives Makhachev the chance to solidify himself as the pound-for-pound best fighter in the UFC.

Body cam footage of the police talking to Colby Covington after the alleged Jorge Masvidal altercation has been released. In March of 2022 – after Covington beat Masvidal at UFC 272 – Masvidal allegedly jumped and assaulted Covington outside of a Miami steakhouse. The punch allegedly broke Covington’s tooth among other minor injuries.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz still has some fight in him after all. ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ has had an interesting last few years. Ortiz famously retired from MMA following a win over Chael Sonnen in 2017, but it was short-lived. The following year, the former titleholder signed with Golden Boy MMA to face Chuck Liddell in a trilogy bout.

UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley has his eyes set on a rematch with Marlon Vera. At UFC 252 in August 2020, the two 135-pound prospects faced off for the first time. Despite being a heavy favorite, ‘Sugar’ suffered an early leg injury, and wound up being TKO’d in the first round. The result was the first defeat of O’Malley’s career thus far.

Luke Rockhold may not be retired after all. Rockhold made his return to the Octagon at UFC 278 against Paulo Costa but suffered a decision loss in a thrilling back-and-forth scrap. After the loss, the former middleweight champ announced his retirement from the sport.

Jake Paul is reportedly done facing older UFC legends, according to himself, anyway. ‘The Problem Child’ has been out of the ring since October when he faced Anderson Silva. The bout was the biggest test of the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s career thus far, and he lived up to expectations. While the fight was close, an eighth-round knockdown sealed the win for Paul by decision.

The Kamaru Usman vs Leon Edwards trilogy fight is in doubt for UFC 286 as the former champ continues to nurse a hand injury. UFC 286 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 18th at the O2 Arena in London, England.

UFC lightweight contender Damir Ismagulov closes the curtain on his career and announces his retirement from MMA. On Sunday, Ismagulov revealed on Instagram that ongoing health issues had forced him to hang up the gloves. The 31-year-old didn’t give much away but thanked his followers for the support throughout his mixed martial arts career.
