Despite fighting 20-pounds lighter than she used to, Andrade still seems to possess all the strength of a bantamweight. Claudia Gadelha has felt that strength first hand, having lost a decision to Andrade in 2017.

The former UFC middleweight champion and newest Hall of Famer looks to have done it again when it comes to current two-division champs Amanda Nunes and Henry Cejudo. Earlier this month, Cejudo joked that he wants to take every championship in the UFC — including those that belong to Amanda Nunes. Despite the comedic connotation attached to the statements of the reigning UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion, Bisping says he would love to see the fight.

The Octagon returned to San Antonio, Texas on Saturday for UFC on ESPN 4. In the main event, Leon Edwards was taking on Rafael dos Anjos in a pivotal welterweight fight. In the end, it was Edwards who got it done, as he won by unanimous decision, which will no doubt shake up the welterweight division.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been hit with a battery charge for an alleged incident that happened at a strip club in April. The report is according to local New Mexico news station KRQE News 13. Jones’ representatives said their client did not know about the charge until KRQE told them about it. After getting beaten down by Edson Barboza in his last fight, Dan Hooker badly needed a win at UFC San Antonio to save face. The New Zealander did just that, as he went into enemy territory against the hometown hero James Vick and came through with arguably the biggest win of his UFC career to date. Hooker needed just 2:33 into the first round to brutally knock out Vick and reestablish himself as a force to be reckoned with in the UFC lightweight division. Hooker didn’t waste any time calling his shot for his next fight when speaking to reporters backstage following the event, calling out Al Iaquinta for a fight.

It wasn’t lost on Greg Hardy that he was the betting underdog heading into his fight against Juan Adams at UFC San Antonio. The controversial heavyweight proved the betting odds were wrong when he needed just 45 seconds to finish his opponent in the first round. In the post-fight scrum with reporters, Hardy fired back at those who doubted him.

Five years just passed since Conor McGregor fought Diego Brandao at UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland. McGregor was still and up-and-coming featherweight at that point in time, and the first-round TKO win over Brandao helped legitimatize McGregor as a forced to be reckoned with at 145lbs in the Octagon. On the fifth-year anniversary of their fight, McGregor took to social media to tell his former foe that he thinks he should be back in the UFC. Brandao was released by the UFC in 2016, and has been fighting for promotions such as RIZIN and Fight Nights Global ever since then.

It was the most impressive win of Hardy’s UFC run so far and came over arguably the best opponent he’s fought so far inside the Octagon. However, not everyone was impressed with Hardy’s knockout.
