Yoel Romero is confident that he can avoid a scale fail at the UFC 241 weigh-ins. Tomorrow night (Aug. 17), Romero will collide with Paulo Costa in a middleweight tilt. Romero is looking to prove that he’s still at the top of the heap at 185 pounds, while Costa hopes to boost himself to contender status. Many believe that Romero’s biggest hurdle at middleweight is the scale.

Speaking to Submission Radio, UFC welterweight contender and potential McGregor opponent Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on the incident. “I thought it was maybe photoshopped cause the dude looked old as fu**, right?” he said.

Many fans were hoping to see Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski get the opportunity to challenge Max Holloway for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 243 this October in Melbourne, Australia. Unfortunately, UFC President Dana White says that won’t be happen. The UFC boss shared this unfortunate news on Submission Radio. He explained that Max Holloway, who just fought at UFC 240 in late July, will be unable to make the featherweight limit in time for the October card in Melbourne.

TMZ reported that this incident occurred when the man refused a sample of McGregor’s popular Proper No. Twelve whiskey. Khabib Nurmagomedov, the reigning UFC lightweight champ and McGregor fiercest rival, was not impressed by what he saw in this video.

Even if Diaz emerges victorious this weekend, Bisping believes there’s a roadblock to the Stockton native colliding with Jorge Masvidal.
