Lewis (22-7 MMA) was most previously seen in action at November’s UFC 244 event, where he picked up a split decision victory over Blagoy Ivanov. ‘The Black Beast’ entered UFC 247 having gone 3-3 over his past six Octagon appearances, which included wins over Alexander Volkov and Francis Ngannou.

Din Thomas has released another video in which he impersonates Stephen A Smith, this in light of the ESPN analysts ongoing feud with Joe Rogan. The UFC commentator, Rogan, had taken issue with some of the comments made by Smith following Conor McGregor’s TKO victory over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.

Prior to his win over Santos, ‘Bones’ had scored a decision victory over Anthony Smith at UFC 235, which was preceded by a TKO victory over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232.

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and his next opponent Yoel Romero got into a dance-off at the UFC 248 press conference. The UFC invited Adesanya and Romero to UFC 247 this weekend and before the card on Saturday night they held a press conference for next month’s UFC 248 event that both men are headlining. Adesanya vs. Romero is taking place because No. 1 contender Paulo Costa is injured and unable to fight for the belt.

In the co-main event of UFC 247, Chookagian will take on current flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko and will do so as a massive underdog. She is hovering around +700. But, that isn’t slowing her confidence, as she says she is better everywhere than ‘The Bullet’ and will dominate Saturday’s fight.

Former UFC welterweight rivals Rory MacDonald and Robbie Lawler have recently been training together at Hard Knocks 365 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. MacDonald has been on vacation this week with his family in Florida and decided to drop into Hard Knocks to get some training in with head coach Henri Hooft. While he was there, MacDonald got some training in with his long-time rival Lawler.

Brendan Schaub feels Dominick Reyes has a shot at dethroning Jon Jones. This Saturday night (Feb. 8), Jones will put his UFC light heavyweight gold on the line against Reyes. “Bones” vs. “The Devastator” will headline UFC 247 inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Both men hit their target weight with Jones weighing in at 204 pounds and Reyes tipping the scales at 205.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t sound like the fan veteran veteran received much more than his typical fight purse Responding to a fan in the replies to a recent Instagram post, Cerrone revealed that he didn’t receive any pay-per-view points for his fight with McGregor, and only received his standard “flat money.”
