Like many, Joe Rogan was less than impressed by the judging associated with tonight’s UFC 247 event in Houston, Texas. The event was littered with poor judging, which included one judge giving Trevin Giles a round in which James Krause had his back for nearly four minutes.

James Krause will fight Trevin Giles at UFC 247 on 24 hours notice

UFC welterweight James Krause has decided to step up on 24 hours notice to fight Trevin Giles in a middleweight bout on the UFC 247 undercard. Giles was supposed to fight Antonio Arroyo on the preliminary card for UFC 247. Arroyo successfully made weight on the scale but afterwards was transported to a hospital after suffering a brutal weight cut, temporarily leaving Giles without an opponent. That is until Krause decided to step up on short notice to save the fight.

There’s recently been a lot of buzz surrounding a crossover showdown between three-division boxing champ Claressa Shields and two-division UFC champion Amanda Nunes. Shields has even suggested she’d be willing to fight Nunes under the MMA rule-set. The boxing champ appears to have been serious about those comments.
