He has been to nine Super Bowls and led the Patriots to six of them, making him arguably the single-most successful player in NFL history. Brady is also a personal friend of White and so comparing Nunes to him shows how strongly White feels about his female champion.

UFC president Dana White confirmed that the winner of the UFC 250 bantamweight bout between Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen will get a title shot. Aside from the main event between UFC women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer, Sterling vs. Sandhagen is the most important fight at this weekend’s UFC 250 card. And now, according to the UFC bossman during the UFC 250 pre-fight media scrum, the winner of this fight will be getting a title shot at 135lbs.

The oddsmakers have released the opening odds for a potential welterweight grudge match between bitter rivals Colby Covington and Tyron Woodley. Woodley said this week that the UFC has already contacted him about a potential Covington matchup and the former UFC welterweight champion says he has accepted the fight. Woodley and Covington have been involved in a heated rivalry for a few years now, and finally, in 2020 it seems like we may see these two settle their beef inside the Octagon. The fight is not yet official but it seems highly likely to be booked soon.

A light heavyweight battle between legends Mauricio Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has been added to the UFC Fight Night card on July 25. Rua and Nogueira had been previously booked for the old UFC 250 card that was set to take place in Brazil, this before it was eventually scrapped. The UFC was able to keep the matchup intact and now the two have been re-booked for a Fight Night event on July 25 that is expected to take place at Fight Island. A middleweight bout between Robert Whittaker and Darren Till headlines that card.

On the main card of UFC 250, Aljamain Sterling battles Cory Sandhagen in what many assume is a number one contenders bout at bantamweight. Heading into the fight, Sterling is a -120 favorite while the comeback on Sandhagen is at -110. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro fighters to get their predictions for the scrap. The pros truly do believe it is a pick’em fight as the oddsmakers do. But, the majority lean towards Sandhagen getting the job done.

Blaydes vs. Volkov was originally set to headline UFC Saskatoon, but that card was a victim of the coronavirus pandemic and was canceled. Thankfully for both fighters, the UFC was able to keep the matchup intact, and now the two will fight on June 20 in the five-round headliner of a Fight Night event. The card takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC made the fight official this week.
