Ireland’s McGregor sought to avenge a recent submission loss to Diaz and recapture some of the mystic he’d lost in defeat. Diaz, meanwhile, looked to prove his recent win over the dangerous Irish striker was not a fluke. After one of the most unforgettable five-round wars in UFC history, McGregor walked away with a majority decision win, leaving their series tied at 1-1.

Irish pub owners in Florida have given up on Conor McGregor as a video of one owner pouring bottles of Proper No. 12 whiskey down the toilet has emerged. Staff at Salty Shamrock pub in Apollo Beach, Florida posted a video of them pouring their supply of Proper No. 12 whiskey down the drain. Owner Sean Rice was at the forefront of the pouring, in retaliation to the video of McGregor allegedly punching an elderly man.

Details are emerging surrounding the Conor McGregor bar incident from back in April. According to The Irish Mirror, the elderly man who was allegedly assaulted by McGregor reportedly told the Irish superstar that he didn’t want to drink his Proper No. 12 whiskey. Yesterday, footage was released showing Conor McGregor punching an older man in the face in a pub in Ireland after the man apparently refused to drink the Irish fighter’s Proper No. Twelve whiskey. Speaking to Submission Radio, UFC welterweight contender and potential McGregor opponent Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on the incident. “I thought it was maybe photoshopped cause the dude looked old as fu**, right?” he said.

On Thursday, video surfaced of former two-division UFC champ Conor McGregor allegedly punching an older man at a bar in Ireland. TMZ reported that this incident occurred when the man refused a sample of McGregor’s popular Proper No. Twelve whiskey. Khabib Nurmagomedov, the reigning UFC lightweight champ and McGregor fiercest rival, was not impressed by what he saw in this video.

Conor McGregor is in more trouble after a TMZ video was released of him allegedly punching an elderly man. UFC president Dana White had actually heard about this incident previously, as it happened back in April. Yet, after watching the video, the boss believes it is clear as day it was Conor McGregor who hit the man which he says is pretty bad.

Roufus sees a number of similarities between the two former lightweight champs, and believes a fight between them could be in the cards if Pettis beats his rival Nate Diaz at UFC 241 this weekend.

Yet, Covington believes that actually makes sense for him to fight Usman and Masvidal to fight McGregor.

When Jorge Masvidal knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds at UFC 239, he asserted himself as one of the uppermost contenders in the crowded UFC welterweight division. Unfortunately for Masvidal, it sounds as though his good friend and training partner Colby Covington will get the next crack at the reigning champ Kamaru Usman.  According to MMA analyst Chael Sonnen, however, there could be something big on the agenda for Jorge Masvidal — even if it’s not a title shot. Sonnen is adamant that a matchup between Masvidal and Conor McGregor is still a possibility, contrary to UFC President Dana White’s apparent disinterest in it.

Michael Bisping believes former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor is probably ‘hoping and praying’ that Dustin Poirier dethrones UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242 this September. McGregor and Nurmagomedov fought in October of 2018. Nurmagomedov won the fight via fourth-round submission, and McGregor has been campaigning for a do-over ever since. Yet Bisping believes McGregor would probably prefer to see Poirier win, as the Irishman holds a victory over “The Diamond” and could conceivably earn a title fight with him based on that.

According to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley however, Jones does not behave any worse than Conor McGregor, who Woodley believes is treated with much more understanding when he errs. In fact, Woodley believes McGregor is even glorified for his troubles outside the cage.
