Juan Adams (5-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) recently announced he had been cut from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but he has already signed with another promotion. Spoke with the manager and I’m not in the ufc anymore. As easy as it would be to give up, I’m going to keep going. I made the changes too late and now i have to pay for that but i have the right pieces in place now. I will continue Hoping and working for the best moving forward.

After winning rounds one and two, Pereira was disqualified in the third after blasting Sanchez with an illegal knee.

In the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Rio Rancho card, The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner Diego Sanchez had his second fight under the tutelage of controversial coach Joshua Fabia. The bout pitted him against Brazilian berserker Michel Pereira. Fabia, who calls himself a “self-awareness coach” and has no real martial arts experience, was the lone person in Sanchez’s corner for this fight, and he had some interesting advice for the fighter between rounds.

Last night, in the main event of UFC Rio Rancho, light heavyweight contender Jan Blachowicz picked up a violent, upset victory over Corey Anderson. The Polish fighter sealed the deal via first-round knockout. Heading into this matchup, Anderson was widely viewed as the next man in like for UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. In victory, however, Blachowicz seemingly leapfrogged the American, and potentially locked up his own shot at Jones.

From there, Jan delivered a thunderous hammer fist that ended Anderson’s night for good.
