Juan Adams (5-3 MMA, 1-3 UFC) recently announced he had been cut from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, but he has already signed with another promotion. Spoke with the manager and I’m not in the ufc anymore. As easy as it would be to give up, I’m going to keep going. I made the changes too late and now i have to pay for that but i have the right pieces in place now. I will continue Hoping and working for the best moving forward.

Conor McGregor teased a potential fight with Diego Sanchez and promptly got called out by Sanchez’s latest opponent, Michel Pereira. Sanchez and Pereira fought in the co-main event of UFC Rio Rancho on Saturday night. After winning rounds one and two, Pereira was disqualified in the third after blasting Sanchez with an illegal knee.

In the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Rio Rancho card, The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner Diego Sanchez had his second fight under the tutelage of controversial coach Joshua Fabia. The bout pitted him against Brazilian berserker Michel Pereira. Fabia, who calls himself a “self-awareness coach” and has no real martial arts experience, was the lone person in Sanchez’s corner for this fight, and he had some interesting advice for the fighter between rounds.

Former Cage Warriors champ Nathaniel Wood entered the cage with John Dodson at UFC Rio Rancho with a lot of hype behind him. Unfortunately for the Brit and his team, the fight didn’t go as planned, as he was stopped by a volley of third-round punches from his experienced foe. Following the loss, Wood took to Twitter to issue a quick statement. As expected, the former Cage Warriors champ kept things classy and vowed to be back soon.

Last night, in the main event of UFC Rio Rancho, light heavyweight contender Jan Blachowicz picked up a violent, upset victory over Corey Anderson. The Polish fighter sealed the deal via first-round knockout. Heading into this matchup, Anderson was widely viewed as the next man in like for UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. In victory, however, Blachowicz seemingly leapfrogged the American, and potentially locked up his own shot at Jones.

Corey Anderson was looking to earn a title shot with Jon Jones with a victory over Jan Blachowicz at tonight’s UFC Rio Rancho event in New Mexico. Unfortunately for ‘Beastin’, Blachowicz found a home for a big right hand in the opening round which sent him crashing to the canvas. From there, Jan delivered a thunderous hammer fist that ended Anderson’s night for good.
