Burns is set to headline UFC Winnipeg on Saturday against Mike Malott in enemy territory. Last night, Charles Oliveira shocked many by dominating Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 326. He came in with a great game plan and he was able to stick to it thoroughly, taking him down in every round of the fight. He was even able to get the better of Max on the feet, including in the classic ‘point down’ moment in the final seconds of the contest.

In his most recent outing at UFC 317, Charles Oliveira attempted to regain the UFC lightweight championship. He went up against Ilia Topuria, and while he had a few nice moments in the early stages of the fight, it ended in heartbreak for ‘Do Bronx’. He was knocked out cold, with Topuria doing exactly what he said he was going to do.

The UFC was at the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday for UFC Vegas 106. In the main event, welterweight contenders threw down as Michael Morales took on Gilbert Burns. Entering the fight, Morales was a perfect 17-0 as a pro, including being 5-0 in the UFC, and was coming off a TKO win over Neil Magny. Burns, meanwhile, was on a three-fight losing streak and was looking to snap his losing skid and remain a title contender.
