The Miami Police Department has released a statement regarding allegations against UFC star Conor McGregor. ‘The Notorious’ is currently awaiting his next fight, having been out of the octagon for over two years. The former double-champion is currently preparing for his return, having recently coached The Ultimate Fighter. Conor McGregor coached the show opposite Michael Chandler, with the two reportedly eyeing a potential December bout.

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is already looking beyond Sean O’Malley. ‘The Funk Master’ has been out of action since his clash with Henry Cejudo last month. The bout was the former champion’s first in over three years, as the two bantamweights headlined UFC 288. In the pay-per-view main event, Aljamain Sterling retained his title by split decision.

Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is interested in the BMF title. ‘Blessed’ has been out of the octagon since his clash with Arnold Allen in April. In the main event of UFC Kansas City, Max Holloway scored a unanimous decision victory over ‘The Almighty’. The win was an important one, as it was the first since his lopsided loss at the hands of Alexander Volkanovski last July.

The UFC and Miami Heat have released statements following the rape accusations against Conor McGregor. McGregor was in attendance at the NBA Finals Game 4 in Miami as he was promoting a new product and had a skit with the Heat mascot that ended up sending the costumed individual to the hospital. Apparently that was not the only McGregor-related incident to take place at the event, as earlier today TMZ Sports reported that a woman is now accusing McGregor of sexually assaulting her during the game.

Charles Oliveira (34-9 MMA) defeated Beneil Dariush (22-5 MMA) this past weekend, Saturday, June 10th at UFC 289. The lightweight co-main event proved Oliveira victorious over Dariush via KO/TKO at 4:10 of round 1.

While it was a close and competitive bout, the judges ruled that ‘Funk Master’ was the man to have his hand raised in victory.

He’ll go head to head with Joaquim Silva, attempting to build on the victory he pulled off over Damir Ismagulov in December. Prior to that, he was beaten by Mateusz Gamrot in an incredibly tight and technical decision.

Kyle Daukaus could have still been a UFC fighter if he wanted. Daukaus lost back-to-back fights by knockout to Roman Dolidze and Eryk Anders and after the loss to Anders, he had fought out his contract. With him losing two in a row, Daukaus expected to get released but he was offered a short-notice fight at light heavyweight against Tyson Pedro at UFC 284 in Australia which he turned down. He was subsequently released shortly there after.

Conor McGregor has opened up on his altercation with the Miami Heat mascot. McGregor was in attendance for Game 4 of the NBA Finals and during a commercial break to promote a pain relief product, the Irishman punched the mascot and followed him to the ground and landed more shots. He then sprayed him with pain relief, but, McGregor ended up hurting the mascot as it was reported the person inside the costume suit was taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital for treatment.

Marvin Vettori is open to fighting Khamzat Chimaev. Vettori is set to headline UFC Vegas 75 against Jared Cannonier on Saturday night as he looks to extend his win streak to two after beating Roman Dolidze. Although Vettori is ranked third, he likely needs multiple wins to get a title shot, especially due to the fact he is 0-2 against Israel Adesanya.
