Former United States President Donald Trump will attend UFC 296 on Colby Covington’s behalf. ‘Chaos’ is currently slated to face Leon Edwards later this month. The bout will be Colby Covington’s first since a unanimous decision victory over Jorge Masvidal last March. Meanwhile, ‘Rocky’ is coming off a unanimous decision win over Kamaru Usman this spring, his second win over ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’.

Longtime lightweight contender Clay Guida is the latest to call for a fight at UFC 300. ‘The Carpenter’ is currently slated to return to the octagon against Joaquim Silva this Saturday night. Clay Guida enters the bout fresh off a unanimous decision loss to Rafa Garcia in April. Meanwhile, the Brazilian is coming off a third-round knockout loss to Arman Tsarukyan in June.

Jamahal Hill’s manager has released a statement hours after the former UFC champion was arrested. ‘Sweet Dreams’ was hoping to step back into the octagon in early 2024. Famously, Jamahal Hill captured light-heavyweight gold with a win over Glover Teixeira in January at UFC 283. Sadly, he didn’t get to have a long-awaited clash with Jiri Prochazka due to a torn achilles.
