Brandon Moreno has opened up on his mental struggles that led to his eight-month layoff. After Moreno lost to Brandon Royval at UFC Mexico City in February he revealed he would be taking some time off. The Mexican ended up taking eight months off as he will return at UFC Edmonton against Amir Albazi in an intriguing flyweight bout.

Justin Gaethje was dropped by a body shot from a coach while he was training. Gaethje was exchanging body shots with a coach doing a drill as every punch got a little harder. After taking several shots, the coach landed a good shot that immediately dropped Gaethje to the canvas.

That night saw Rose Namajunas hand the rising prospect a unanimous decision defeat. The victory was the former champion’s second in a row, previously defeating Amanda Ribas in March. Now, Namajunas is set to return to the cage in the co-main event of UFC Edmonton on Saturday.
